The hotel was close to the city center and only three tram stops away from Zurich’s main train station. The hotel itself was clean and well looked after. The decor was a little dated but in general, the hotel seemed to be well maintained. The room was spacious, quiet and the electric black out shades/curtains were great. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast selection was fine. The staff at reception were friendly and efficient.

The pillows on the bed were completely flat and offered no support. The air conditioning did work, but it always felt just a little bit too warm in the room. The bathroom was very spacious but in need of renewal. The combination of the strong water pressure, the awkward position of the shower head and the flimsy shower curtain made it impossible to shower without flooding the floor. The staff in the breakfast room could have been friendlier.

early check out at 11.00 AM room is super warm don’t be fooled by the photos of the gym, it’s not in the hotel but a block away and they charge 27 usd for a day pass.

Great location just off the Bahnhofstrasse; near Old Town, public transport around the corner. Train and tram less than $2.00 are 18 minutes from the airport; no need for a taxi. Staff were exceedingly helpful, professional but super friendly. Breakfast was exceptional! Grocery store in close walking distance. Rooms well appointed and quiet.

Restaurant not open sometimes but plenty of great places nearby so it was not an issue.

Check in was simple, had a family room which was lovely and very big using the sofa bed as a sofa as there was just the two of us. Minibar, safe, wardrobe etc. couple of tables and chairs too with twin beds for some reason, not the comfiest but no big deal, fluffy feather pillows very nice! Bathroom had a bath with a powerful shower, hairdryer etc. all good and the place was spotless I must say. Breakfast was excellent, all sorts to choose from and the staff were friendly and efficient. Very close one way to the lake and the other ways, various tram stops, a great location and overall, a very pleasant stay.

As situated to the back, there was a car park and on the Saturday night it seemed to be the place for groups of youth in said cars to turn up to then speed off which eventually stopped but not until around 3.30am though as we arrived not until 12pm, could've been worse! Other times, very early morning deliveries or bin men could jolt you out of your slumber. On saying that though, inside the hotel you could've heard a pin drop, so very quiet which meant a lot if having an evening in.

Very good location - Hotel is centrally located, very close to Lake & Tram Station. Room was quite spacious & WC / Bath were quite clean.

Temperature was 34 C. Although AC was working room was quite hot. AC should be made good to maintain room temperature at 22/23 C

the welcome we received by Michael was exuberant and helpful. Accomodation /breakfast/dinner all excellent

Location was amazing, you are right in the heart of city. Public transport just a few steps away. Checkin was also great as I requested an early check in and my room was ready when I arrived. Staff were amazing especially the lady hosting us at the breakfast. Reception also took the liberty of making my food warm in the microwave

Shower curtains must be replaced, the most awful feeling when you having a shower and the curtain gets stuck on you. The shower drainage is extremely slow, at one point the water is over your ankle. Also the carpet must be replaced with tiles or wooden flooring. It's unhygienic especially as a pet friendly hotel. There is no kettle on the room to make tea and the coffee machine is quiet difficult to use.

I enjoyed the stay - but I was only there one night. It is located in a nice centralized location, great for the tourist who wants to see Old Zurich. The staff was friendly and they have a nice, underutilized bar with a great selection. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Our suite had a nice sized bathtub that I relaxed in. The room was somewhat eccentric with a rotating pillar with the TV (I liked it) and curtains that didn't quite go all the way around the bed.

Nothing major. It took a while to figure out how to turn off the floor lights (night lights). They don't use modern locks, but rather a very heavy keychain and key. The doors don't automatically lock behind you, which I didn't realize until I accidentally started to go back into a room.

Pretty much everything, the staff couldn’t be nicer, especially the young local girl at reception. Help us with air conditioning in our room and checked in with us everytime we saw her. The breakfast staff really went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They were a highlight! Location is very useful as it’s right around the corner from paradeplatz and the lake is down the road. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my family

Can’t complain personally, maybe just the keys being a bit big and having to leave them at the reception when leaving!

Exactly what we needed after long travel. A very comfortable downtown (business like) hotel that was located close to trams, shops, the old city and the lake foreshore. And with a hearty breakfast. To get around, on a Sunday when nearly everything was shut, we bought a quite cheap 24 hr travel ticket that gave us the ferry to the chocolate factory and all travel in and around the city centre as needed.

Only quibble was a rather dour reception attendant who could not understand that I couldn't receive a text message on my phone (sans international roaming) to access the wifi code..... had to wait until a younger attendant was working to offer a work around. Also, despite having requested a midday check-in when making the booking, and after long travel, the same reception attendant could offer nothing before the official time of 3 p.m.
