Beautiful old building on the lake promenade in the very center of Neuchatel. Breakfast is tasty, the view from the dining room is fantastic. Cocktails and dinner menu is great although expensive. Room is big and comfortable.
There's no pool and the spa facilities are small. Of course the building itself is old so difficult to do anything about it.

incredible location, the best spot to discover all of Neuchatel and beyond. close to all transports such as tram line, buses, etc. wonderfully decorated rooms, calming brown undertones, aesthetically pleasing hallways and grand reception. the nicest part of the hotel is the bar/restaurant and the terrace. nice little personal touches such as sparkles in the matches of the hotel.
had a little issue with the television remote but aside from that no other comment.

The location was excellent in the city center, with lake and city views. I was able to park my large van right in front of the hotel, wich was convenient. I got a free room upgrade. I liked the free bottle of water and Nespresso in the room. The internet connection was good. I really appreciated the included Neuchâtel tourist card and visited museums and took a boat trip with it - an excellent value. The cheeseburger that I had in the restaurant was outstanding and the service from all personnel (front desk, housekeeping, restaurant) was friendly and helpful.
The furnishings could probably use an update, but they were nice and everything was clean. I filmed a YouTube video in the Room and it looked good.

Grand hotel of the lovingly designed type you can only find in Switzerland. Yes you could complain about a bit of deferred maintenance here and there but it’s part of the charms. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, great food in the restaurants. Very convenient parking both valet and a directly adjacent public parking garage are available. Excellent staff.

Location is great with the lake view and the city centre very close. The room was big / very clean with a wonderful view on the park and the lake. What is making the difference in this hotel is the staff. They are extremely professional, helpful and friendly.
The only missing piece is a swimming pool
