Hôtel du Cygne

It’s a very pretty B&B with excellent restaurant. If you don’t expect hotel-level service, you’ll love it. Super clean, well located, nothing to complain. And good breakfast with amazing local butter (and I mean it!)

Check parking in advance - no big deal, but worth planning.

The location and authentic feel was great. Quaint little French village which was a great stop for us on our cycle tour. Very accommodating and the restaurant serves great food.

Unfortunately the room was rather basic with no hair dryer, no shampoo only soap, shower was rather old and no coffee facilities in the room. Sorry but that’s just what I would expect when I pay CHF260 for the night.

The staff were very welcoming. Our room #5 was spacious with a big balcony.

Our balcony was over the restaurant terrasse, so there was noise until about midnight.

Homely hotel in a good location for where we wanted to be based. The family room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly. Would stay again!

We would have liked a cupboard for our clothes, rather than living out of a suitcase for a few days.

There‘s a 12 hour parking zone close to the hotel.

Due to Covid and that they‘re under construction they didn‘t have their restaurant open and therefore no dinner or breakfadt options. Since this wasn‘t mentioned on the website it was an unpleasant surprise. Luckyli there we‘re take away restaurant options around and we could eat it at the community room of the hotel.

Nobody there upon arrival and also nobody picking up the emergency phone numbers provided. It was very noisy due to the close road and loud church bells. Somebody was trying twice to enter my room in the night. Altogether no a good value for money. You did not get the impression of any type of customer orientation.

The staff was very friendly and tried to help as much s they could. The quality of the few proposed items for breakfast was good, but the choice was miserable for such a high price.

Room was under the roof, no air conditioning - only a noisy fan. Windows open held to cool down, but woke up many times by noise from the road.
