Superb breakfast buffet, and pleasant ambience in the breakfast room/bar. Helpful staff. I always enjoy the old furniture and antiques throughout this hotel.

I had to move my room because of neighbours who shouted and yelled for hours on end, despite my banging on the wall, and asking them to be quiet. As a result, I had a room half the size for the rest of my stay. Also, if one has a room at the front it is noisy with pulsating hugely amplified music all night long....till about 5am...either from the hotel's own bar below, or from a nightclub opposite. This never used to be the case..... I also didn't like the way that different staff informed one differently about things, like the need to book a table, when the restaurant was and was not open, etc. No consistency! Also, no-one ever offered to help me with my case, despite knowing I did not take lifts, and was having difficulty.

Lovely property in the heart of Stockholm. Our room wasn’t the one we’ve expected (not as shown on booking as a double room in the pictures), however, the room was nice and comfortable nonetheless. But be aware that you may get a room that has not been shown in the pictures. The staff were warm and accommodating whenever we’ve had to interact and always helped with our requests. The hotel is in a busy area of Stockholm and if you’re visiting at the weekend there may be excessive noise from outside. But the windows do a great job in keeping that noise out so you have nothing to worry about and have got nightlife right at your doorstep.

Wasn’t a massive fan of breakfast. The cooked breakfast lacked flavour in my opinion. On our day for breakfast only americano coffee was available as the other coffee machine didn’t work.

High class hotel, and it lives up to the (high) expectations. We stayed with our two sons (11 and 9 years) in a family room. Room did not feel cramped and kept a sense of luxury - something you often lose with additional children's beds in a hotel room. Even if the hotel keeps up a classy atmosphere, we felt welcome with the children. The hotel is situated pretty close to a lively party spot, and when we found complimentary ear buds, we were scared. But we didn't suffer any noise in the end - don't know if we were just lucky.

Breakfast offers a broad selection of food of high quality, but the fruit section could be larger and especially a fruit salad would be most welcome.

The breakfast was top notch – excellent food and lots to choose from, and the tables was placed in a way that it felt that you could sit semi-privately. The rooms are cosy and decorated in a way so you can feel the older nisch for the hotel, but still with a modern touch in the areas that matter (bathrooms). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very nice evening bar. Close to Metro Station and easy walk to the city centre.

Very noisey at night. Not the hotels fault thou, as it is located near a popular party street, and the hotel offered free earplugs in the room

This is my favorite hotel in Stockholm. I’ve been coming every year since I was a little girl so I have been in many hotels there. This is a great price, excellent location, the staff is so helpful and kind, and they’re great with kids! The breakfast is delicious, they have the best American pancakes! And on top of everything the decor, style and architecture is impeccable. 10/10, highly recommend.

It is on a noisy street so if you don’t have a room with AC and need to have the windows open it can be loud at night.

Central location, excellent historical interior and staff is extremely welcoming. Rooms are very lovely and shower is excellent. There is a fridge in the room and large safe. Breakfast is excellent also.

TV in room is a bit old, no HDMI ports so we couldn’t use streamer however there are some basic news channels. We didn’t really need a TV so it was okay. Lifts are slow a bit, inner bar doesn’t work on weekends when there are lots of ppl in the main bar area

Excellent location, in the walking distance of most important landmarks in the city. Nice family rooms, also sufficiently spacious, appropriate if you travel with kids. We also had a breakfast included, which we liked a lot, especially selection of juices/smoothies. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel has a jazz club inside, which can be loud at night. Also outside can be quite lively. As the building is old, also sound isolation is not great, and in our case we heard the music every night during the stay, waking us up in the middle of the night. The hotel does provide earplugs.

The central location got my attention and the jazz club sealed the deal. The atmosphere and attentive staff were fantastic. The single room was compact but didn’t feel small with space to unpack and prep for nights out.

The central location livens up at night and when the bars let out it is noisy well into the early morning on weekends. Taxis honking and general party merriment. The hotel provides ear plugs, and they are very useful.

Room, bat, location and facilities were great.

The reception claimed that there was room service at check in. There wasn't a phone to dial to order food so I dialled using my personal phone. After a ten a minute wait I went down to the bar to order. They claimed they didn't do room service. So I went to the receptionist who said that you could order with the bar. I then went to the bar who then explained that they don't do room service but the bar then explained that they do sell over the counter. I feel like I wasted a lot of time on the phone, going to the bar twice and the receptionist once, just to buy a bottle of wine. Some clearer communication should not be hard to provide.

Exceptional Location. Practically on THE CENTER of the city with lots of clubs/bars and restaurants nearby and all city attractions within a walking distance. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Very convenient the bar next to the lobby of the hotel, that seemed quite popular on a Friday/Saturday night for the locals as well. Hotel is even better in real life than in the pictures!!!!!
