City Backpackers Hostel

I stayed here during New Year's Eve with four other people. We booked a private apartment for a cheap price. The location is in a quiet place near the center of Stockholm.

Once arrived at the structure it was mandatory to buy bed linen. It would be easier to directly include this expense in the price of the room. There were no bath towels in the apartment.

Hostel was clean. The location is great. Sockets close to each bed and strong wifi everywhere.

-A complicated way to check in. There are three codes you must insert in order to reach your room and one of them changes every day. -They give you a drawing showing you where your room is, for me it was not a problem for others it was. - The rooms have swedish names and for me that was stupid. The names are complicated and if the names are global for every nationality to understand would have been better because no one is intrested to learn swedish. -There are not enough showers and toilets for a fully booked hostel. Plus there was one of the showers without a door so if you like everyone to see you while having a shower go ahead.

I loved the vibe of the place, the accommodation and the room, it was very comfy overall, the shared spaces were great too. Lots of showers available, tons of rooms... Free coffee, tea and pasta to enjoy for everyone.

the other guests partying until midnight Inside of the hostel and playing beerpong, monopolyzing space and making a lot of noise. Really disrespectful, especially when your room is right next to the common area. Bring earplugs ! The kitchen was a bit crowded as well, if you have social anxiety, this is not the best for you !

I really liked the kitchen and the common area. It is a really good place to socialize.

The bathrooms are not super clean but alright. We had one toilet which was clogged and so there was water on the floor. But the other bathrooms were okay.

The location is very close to Stockholm Central and Flybus terminal. Buying food and groceries is pretty convenient. The kitchen is spacious, WC and shower areas clean. Pasta is included and there is a separate fridge where one can find useful and usable free food or cooking items. Overall I enjoyed my stay on two different occasions.

The showers and WC are outside the rooms. I stayed in 4 female dorm, outside there it's noisy especially during the weekend due to music practice. Induction stove gets switched off at 22:00 and not switched on till 06:00, which means if someone wakes up early and want to cook, can't. Beyond my understanding why they don't include the SEK 35.00 in the tariff and makes us pay it separately? What's the logic even? Luggage room involves going down a flight of stairs and bringing it back up. It was a real struggle for me.

The location was spot on, near to the central station and all places of interest. the check-in was brilliant with the codes and all the stuff and messing around with keys and cards. The reception was welcoming and the staffs were super nice. It could feel a bit of a maze at the start but adventurous and I liked it. the room was rightly sized and the bed arrangement was cool. Comfortable bed and power plugs available at each bed. the bathrooms and toilets were super clean loved how they are maintained throughout. The common area and kitchen were a bonus addition for community cooking, games, and chatting or simply handing around.

Not much but just that Private curtains or dividers at the bed could be of great use and appreciable for some kind of privacy. and if the door codes could also be sent over a message after check-in so if the slip is misplaced the codes are still available, unless it's a security risk.

Modern hostel with perfect location, friendly staff good facilities.

It was cold in the room, and even small heater, which was in the room, couldn't change the situation. At 8 a.m. the kitchen was blocked - no electricity, nothing worked, so I couldn't have my breakfast.

As a girl travelling alone I felt safe here as people were kind and helpful yet not pushy. Everything was clean (they cleaned every morning), the communal area is big - wether you want to chill alone or talk to people, there's space for everyone. I stayed in the 8 beds mixed room and all people were nice, quiet and clean. Location is also super good, i walked everywhere, didn't need to take public transport.

Not a dislike but rather a note to self: If you'd like to use the free locker in the rooms, make sure to bring a big lock or the one which is bendy as the loopy-thing on the locker is quite big and wide itself so small ones don't fit.

I recently stayed at an amazing hostel that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay while traveling. The people at this hostel were friendly and welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to make sure that my stay was enjoyable. The location was also great, with easy access to all the attractions and amenities that I needed. One of the things that I really loved about this hostel was how easy it was to meet other people. As a solo traveller, I found it to be the perfect place to make new friends and connect with other travellers from all over the world. Overall, I had a fantastic time staying at this hostel and would definitely recommend it to others.
