Nice and tidy I liked the eco friendly approach of the hotel Great breakfast Staff very nice and helpful Over all very good stay.

There was nothing major, that we didn’t liked about the property however, it was more far away from city centre than we though (30-40 minutes walk), no place to put your clothes away when staying for longer, fire doors are closing very loudly, so in the morning hours you can hear doors slamming all the time, which was waking us up. Also hotel located in the industrial estate, so no nice views. We also found hotel pretty pricey, comparing to other hotels in Gothenburg. ( Not hotel fault, but worth to mention, booking advertise that you get free taxi transfer to the hotel if you spend over £400, however only applicable in certain cities, unfortunately Gothenburg was not included, however hotel was very helpful and assisted us with this issue)

Room was cozy and quite spacious for 4 people, staff was very helpful and sweet at the reception, it was easy to get around by walk and taxi from hotel, also the breakfast hours were amazing for slow mornings and buffet itself was quite nice. Nice extras were pool table and sauna in the hotel basement. We really enjoyed our hotel choice and our stay.

That rooms don't get cleaned if you don't ask for it, which would be fine for cleaning part but not tash bins.. we didn't get clean coffee cups and trash taken out on second day of our stay, so it wasn't nice when you are 4 people staying. At the breakfast it looked like 3 mornings in a row the staff couldn't manage to keep up with buffet and filling it up. In the room for 4 people missing some sort of wardrobe to place all the luggage / clothes

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Location is fine for us and often there is parking free of charge (when not the other available parking lot is expensive though). Rooms are newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast room is updated with new furniture and lots of flower pots. Breakfast seems to be more ambitious than at earlier visits with a generous buffet.

This is a very personal view, but we preferred the style of the rooms before the renovation. It is modern - but very dark with black carpet and dark grey wall papers and black curtains. This is a matter of taste!

The single room was small but had everything I needed. It was clean, modern and renovated. The Wi-Fi worked well in room, there was also tea/coffee available plus hairdryer, mini fridge and safebox. Bathroom was clean and spacious. The reception staff was polite and very helpful. There was no problem to leave things by early arrival but late departure. I was surpised by delicoius breakfast with huge choice of products. The breakfast room was renovated and very stylish.

I did not like the location that much. The area is pretty industrial, close to big road with some offices and storages. There are no shops, restaurants or cafes in the neighbourhood and it is around 20-30 minutes walk to city center along the busy road.

Hotel Breakfast is still great. The room was large, however, think that we were upgraded due to the renovations ongoing at the time of our visit. The location is fine, a short walk to Svingeln bus/tram stop. Used the sauna, which was very clean. Liked that they only clean the rooms when asked, to reduce waste, especially for shorter trips.

The room was very warm (Was approximately 25-26 Celsius outside during our stay), but the air conditioner was not up to the task. Sound travels in the hotel from both between floors and in-between rooms. Some sound from the motorway outside, if you have the windows open, which we needed to do. The shower wall attachment wasn't very good at the back of the bath, should probably be attached to the wall on the side, so you don't have to lean back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Spar Hotel Gårda for two nights. My decision to choose this hotel was primarily influenced by its reputation for Danish design furniture, and I must say, it did not disappoint in that regard. The bed, pillow, and duvet provided an exceptionally comfortable night’s sleep, ensuring that I woke up refreshed each morning. However, I did notice that the bathrooms did not quite meet the same high standards as the room itself. It appeared as though they hadn’t undergone renovation in quite some time. Despite this, they were clean and functional, which is certainly a plus. In summary, Spar Hotel Gårda impressed me with its Danish design furniture, comfortable bedding, and overall cleanliness. However, the dated bathrooms and parking challenges were notable drawbacks to an otherwise pleasant stay.

One aspect that left me somewhat disappointed was the parking situation. The hotel offers limited free parking, but I struggled to find an available spot during my stay. Consequently, I ended up having to pay around €35 for parking over the course of two nights at the nearest parking facility, which was only 50 meters away from the hotel entrance.

I was delayed arriving and contacted them to let them know and they responded very quickly to assure me it wasn't a problem. The room was very good for a single person and even though only there for a short night ( having arrived after midnight ) it was comfortable. A hot breakfast was available from 6:30 which meant I had plenty of time before catching a train to continue my journey and the desk were very helpful in getting a taxi for me to Gothenberg Central Station.

Clearer directions online from near the last stop on the Airport Bus - I did check online before leaving the UK but it wasn't clear what was the best option.

It was good, after visiting so many hotels belonging to this or that chain, to stay at an independent establishment where they clearly try their best to make you feel welcome. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Soundproofing is top notch, so that you realise there is a motorway nearby only when you get out of the hotel. The staff is friendly and checking in and out was a breeze. The plus, in my view, is the leisure facilities: gym, sauna, billiard and table-tennis are all available for guests and included in the room price. Breakfast, too, is included, and perhaps it could be made just a tad more exciting with some addition to the current selection.

Nothing to complain about, but perhaps, since we spent a couple of hours more than we had expected in the room, on account of the bad weather, being further removed from a couple of rooms where there was ongoing renovation work would have been perfect.

Location is great. Quite room to the road but not to the close rooms. Breakfast is also great giving you european tastes and Swedish as well. You can also have your coffee for take away. The design of the hotel and rooms is superb. Staff is always there when you need them. Wifi just fine no problems.

Due to a concert during these days the price was extremely high in comparison to diff period for the exact same room (almost triple price). You cannot manage the temperature of the room on your own .

Very clean, just refreshed room, on the smaller side. Many plugs avaliable. Nice shower. Like the billiards and ping-pong avaliable downstairs, was fun to play and relax. Staff was great, very polite and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Very nice to have parking on-site

The air circulation in the room wasn't working, that may be due to the renovations happening on the floor below. We opened the 2 windows in our room to cool it off but had to close them again due to traffic noise, once closed could barely hear the traffic though.
