Zenit Vigo

Lovely bright room with great ambience. Good breakfast and nice staff. Location is excellent in terms of being central to everything. I asked for a room with a window facing the street and was accommodated gladly. Obviously there is some street noise as this is a busy city but way less than you’d expect. Complimentary products in the bathroom (including lotions and conditioner) were very welcome.

The internal lights in the bedrooms work in a sort of motion sensor which can be sort if annoying but of course you can just switch them off!

I booked a budget single room whilst walking the camino and it was great. super clean, comfortable bed, very helpful staff (I hurt my toe walking and they gave me a first aid kit without me asking). I wished I stayed longer, just to stay in the hotel!

the only negative was that I heard people licking their doors and leaning in the morning. the room was very tiny, but that is what I booked. it was big enough for me to sit at the chair. oh, the tv wasn’t set up properly and wasn’t working but I wasn’t bothered by that.

Zenit Vigo is a quality hotel with excellent standards from the cleanliness to the rooms, bed and shower were perfect. Most of all thank you to the lovely ladies on reception, Rebekah and Maria who were delightful, helpful and could not do enough in helping with any information needed on public transport and local places to eat. They are a credit to the Zenit brand and I will come back again, Gracias

The receptionist team on our arrival was wonderful. The location of the hotel is perfect

The receptionist team at the time of checkout was not doing their job properly. Instead of checking.. the middle-age man immediately said that we haven't paid the breakfast. We let him check, and only after few minutes checking he released us to leave.

Being my point of view , I have met too much dark in the hotel. Walls painted in black/grey , in my room the window is on wall view and the sensation was to be compressed. I have had to switch on the air conditioning to feel myself breathing better

Location is great, right in the middle of town. Modern hotel with nice decor. Receptionist upgraded us to a room with a sea view, which was great. We were also on the 8th floor, so there was very little noise. I slept the best at this hotel on our camino route so I would highly recommend.

It would be useful to have more hooks in the bathroom. There were 2 in the shower area but more elsewhere would be good.

The girl supporting at the breakfast room was really professional and nice. We have appreciated also the receptionist staff always available to support all our needs. Congratulations!

The roof A/C grill was too close of the left hand side of the bed leading us to turn it off

A bargain in Vigo. While the building shows it's age, the rooms themselves are fine and breakfast is excellent. Decent choices and plenty of healthy ones at that. If I find myself in Vigo again, I will most assuredly stay there again because I can't anything else in the same price range coming close the level of service and comfort here.

The building does show it's age and apparently booking can sometimes also be a bit tricky. Very minor issues considering the advantages.

It wasn't my first stay, I already knew it and from the first time I was loyal to Zenit. The location is central, ideal for pedestrian access to the marina area, bars and restaurants, despite having chosen another car park, there is a car park right in front of the hotel.

Only the high price at certain times of the year.

Great location, it's close to the centre and the train station. It's on a busy road but it's really quiet. Fast check-in and spotlessly clean too.

The breakfast is a little expensive for Galicia. Also, there is a kettle and coffee in the bedroom, but no milk! No little tubs or even a small carton in the fridge. Slightly odd that...
