Hotel Vigo Plaza

Arrived a little early, was no probem, glad of the lift as room on 6th floor, room was really clean and airy, sliding door to small exterior space, wonderful view over the full bay and docks. The location is excellent, everything easily accessable, lots of eateries and bars. Staff all helpful and glad to assist with anything, especially Coffee and Drinks all priced more retail than Hotel. The cleaners were real stars.

Building site to rear, not really that much of a problem, no early starts or heavy noise. The walls in this hotel are paper thin, if are unlucky enough to have noisy neighbours as we did could be an issue for some. Most guests move on fairly quickly I think we were just unlucky.

Very nice place! Staff was great and the room was comfortable! Breakfast was good and it had several options for vegetarians! They do not have a place to park in their facilities, but there is free parking a few minutes away in Rúa Marqués Alcedo

There was no air conditioner, so we had to have the windows opened to try and create some drift and the bathroom window was in front of the stairs window, so we had to be careful to close it before using it

Perfect location for us, not in the middle of the downtown area but close enough to walk. Staff was outstanding - everyone was friendly, hospitable, and helpful. We got a little frustrated looking for a place to eat one evening and the young lady at the desk directed us to a pizza place that was extraordinary!! Breakfast was very good as well.

The room had a nice balcony with a small table and two chairs looking at the sea. Clean and true to the pictures, with a comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast and perfect location in the city centre, at walking distance from everything.

It was quite noisy because of some construction works outside, not the hotel's fault, but you could also hear people from other rooms so the walls are probably too thin / not properly insulated.

The area where the hotel is located, close to the city centre and other main points of the city. It was a clean room, but some more investments in furniture could have been made.

Very noisy, because you could hear, through the walls, the neighbours and their activities.

The beds are comfortable, close of the city center. Brekfast option is very nice, and brekfast was good. Very nice for the price!

It is in the city center so it can get loud, it was doable because we could close the window(it was not very hot). Also you can hear very clearly people coming and going in the other rooms.

Staff were very chatty, helpful and friendly, especially the evening staff serving us drinks. Beds were very comfortable with good shower water pressure. Location was good. Staff accommodate the storage of our bikes while we stayed.

Breakfast a big disappointment, no freshly cooked food, no yogurts, only apples and oranges available as fruit. Gluten free options was terrible, only hard, dried prepacked bread available.

When we got to the room we realised we had a terrace with amazing views. The receptionist was super kind, very helpful and professional. We really enjoyed our chats with him. The room was super clean and breakfast was great. Good value for money.

The walls are paper thin so we could hear everything from the neighbouring rooms and one of our radiators was leaking.

Clean & comfortable, very central

We tried to book breakfast the day we were leaving, we were told no, as there was only enough food left out for those who had booked, despite the previous morning they had no problem bringing out more food.

This is a basic hotel not luxury , a little dated but well located near the old town. Please note there were a few events in Vigo at the time and all hotel prices were inflated especially those well located. So on the day you got value for money but under normal circumstances it would have proved expensive in the UK it might just about get a2.5 star rating. The staff were excellent.

The fact that you had to pay an inflated price because hotels were nearly all full.
