Jardines del Sol

Resort was well kept, 3 bed villa was large and spacious for our family of 5. Swimming pools were great, clean and never an issue getting beds throughout the day. Restaurant onsite was outstanding, food and service was excellent with some entertainment in the evening. Short 10 min walk to the sea and a taxi rank outside for longer journey's which were so cheap. Next to a mountain which is easily walkable, views at the top are fantastic. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

Very clean resort and the accommodation has excellent A/C and is quite spacious. Regular sheet changing and cleaning is a welcome service Pool area is never crowded and sun loungers readily available. Thoroughly washed down each morning before the days sunbathing Bailys bar is excellent and the staff super friendly who work hard to ensure everyone is enjoying food & drinks with little fuss

Early check-in & late check-out is not really possible at this resort and having a 10am check-out for UK & Ireland guests who would be flying home later in the day is not ideal. Luggage storage and shower facilities at pool (indoor shower) help but not ideal for any amount of persons wanting to use. More engagement from resorts guest services during the stay would be welcomed Taxi rank outside resort - however expect waiting times of 20 mins after 6PM in the evening

Beautiful view, large well equipped apartment. pool and bar both great. It was our second visit and it was even better than I remembered- it is good to have a spacious apartment with big outside space and cooking facilities.

It’s hard to find anything wrong. it’s a hit of a walk/drive to supermarket and beach but this didn’t bother us, but might not be so good for some. They weren’t able to give us a late checkout but we used the pool and bar until we left for our flight.

The bungalows were very spacious and the site was very clean. The Bailey Bar was really good value for money and the staff were excellent. The swimming pools were also very good, our children loved playing in them. Great location, with a Taxi rank right outside.

I left the air conditioning on for one night, towards the end of our stay, and woke up feeling unwell. I am susceptible to picking up colds, but I also know that dirty air conditioning units are the worst things for me. It may have just been one of those things, but it also may have been that the air con units were dirty and need cleaning.

Absolutely everything, probably one of the most peaceful relaxing break we have ever had. We had a two bedroom bungalow type, front & back door plus patio doors it was huge, large kitchen with two bathrooms, the beds are super comfy too. Pools are so clean as is the whole complex they really go out their way to keep it immaculate. The gardens are beautiful, lots of different types of bushes, trees just unbelievable! The on site restaurant is fab too meals cooked all fresh and you won’t be disappointed, all the staff are all lovely. I wouldn’t recommend for families with really young children as it’s very quiet and a lot of the people their are elderly but we enjoyed it and so did my 14yr old. Lots of free sun-beds no rush to put towels down. Just everything we wanted in a holiday. There’s nothing outside the complex it’s a 35 min walk to a wee shop. There is a taxi rank outside the complex takes you to the centre for around €4.

complicated sun bed reservation system made necessary by COVID regs but beds largely unoccupied all day (in November) so system became cumbersome to operate pools a little chilly

The pool is lovely and the water is really clear. It's also a massive bonus that, whatever time you arrive at the pool, there are plenty of sunbeds and you can find shade. The sunbeds are also of very high quality and sturdy. The sunbed covers also make them really comfortable. The apartment is very well appointed with dishwasher tabs, washing powder, shampoo, soap, washing up liquid, pegs for the line and it's great to have the dishwasher and washing machine. The bed linen is of very high quality and the beds are really comfortable. I like the fact that the wardrobes have lights in them. We enjoyed the range of entertainment in the evening and found the quiz nights to be really entertaining and fun: please extend our thanks to the gentleman who runs the quiz who is really nice and friendly. It's great there is a 24hr reception and the staff are exceptional: friendly and speak perfect English which, is great as we wouldn't get far with my rudimentary Spanish!

The only thing that is disappointing is that the umbrella is too tall to open under the canopy on the patio so, shade is scarce.

The staff are extremely professional,engaging and friendly. Our second visit and the quality of accommodation and facilities are outstanding as ever.Pool staff ensure safe distancing and Covid protocols of the highest standard. The jewel for me and my partner was poolside bar,restaurant Bailys!!! Food is outstanding quality,drinks menu fabulous and amazing value for money. €2.50 for large beer. 4-6 happy hour, great to enjoy cocktails as the sun sets over the pool and extinct volcano. Bailey and his team are wonderfully focused in putting your enjoyment as there number one goal. Funny,friendly and so hard working,a credit to Jarines del sol. Covid protocols are observed to the letter. Accommodation is a really spaces full equipped to give you a real home from home feeling.Large terraces gives you alfresco breakfast and lunch options. Playa Blanca is spread out,with taxi rank outside you get to Marine and central town under 5 euros. Bus stop less 100m will give you cheaper option €1.45 same journey. Bus every 30,number 30 loops around resort... A wonderful Oasis from this ravages of this pandemic.

Just upgrade to smart Tv in Villa would give sports fans a perfect reason to raise a glass to cheer on your team.

such a beautiful and well kept site. The heated swimming pools were excellent. All the staff were exceptional, polite, friendly and happy to help. We loved eating at Baileys Restaurant, again the staff were wonderful, the food was good with a varied menu. There was a lovely atmosphere mainly because of attitude of the staff working there. Our accommodation was kept spotless and it was nice not to have any housework to do. There is a taxi rank and bus stop just outside the complex, although the walk into playa Blanca town along the seafront is very pleasant with lots of cafes/restaurants on route. There’s a Welcome Home sign prominent by Reception and for us, it does feel like coming back to our Lanzarote home.

It was all good, however I suspect a refurbishment may be on the cards in the future.

Loved the villas so homely and quiet, air con amazing, pools amazing, entertainment at night was a bit blah. Food in the restaurant was gorgeous and tasty and staff were incredible. Loved the option to WhatsApp or email reception with any queries during out stay and any time we did, we got a reply very quickly. However on our first night we had lots of ants - which was off-putting, we contacted reception who gave us a spray and put down powder around our apartment and no more ants were seen after that. Amazing breakaway especially if you like quiet and cool - temperature wise in the apartment. Thank you to all the staff for being so brilliant.

The Ants but thankfully the staff helped us with that and realistically that was beyond their control.
