Wavia Hotel - Adults only

The room looks exactly as in photos. Confortable bed. Excellent location, beach within 1min walk, plenty of shops, parking 30seconds away (16euro /day), just as any other city center :) daily houskeeping. Our shower gel had a typical "man shower gel" smell, but I had my own. No shampoo or conditioner. Could improve on deep cleaning. Corners and so on are yellow. As someone mentioned earlier a toaster or a microwave (there is a space for it) would have helped, keeping in mind, that restaurants around open at 11-12 and no breakfast served in the house. As an early bird and breakfast person, everyday I had croissant and coffee for breakfast, as no warm food was available. All in all, good 8.

At night SILENCE which is very rare to have in noisy Spain. It is NOT a hotel since there is a self check in, no staff seen during three days, no breakfast service or any other service available. located at end of boulevard in a quiet street between locals. very good airconditioning, waterboiler and fridge in room. two bottles of water complimentary.

check in was uncomfortable. I had to call several times, no answers to first calls, after 15 minutes and being told I had no reservation the owner found out that I did have a paid reservation and gave me instructions in a rude way. if one ever would have problems in this hotel, be aware that there is NO staff available.

Everything was great. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room with nice view. Room was everyday cleaned. Be careful when you make a booking because not everyone room has a kitchen. But anyway you will have a kettle in your room with cups and glasses. Restaurants and cafes are near the hotel. Grocery store nearby. 1 minute walk to the beach. Absolutely recommend this hotel for staying in Las Palmas.

I would recommend to have one receptionist on the front desk during the day, to have ability to ask some information you need. Of course everyone is allowed to call to reception number and get help but I prefer to talk to people live. And also small recommendation about shampoo. So good to have shower gel and shampoo separately not like 2 in 1. Same with soap. If you have no soap in dispenser then please create some special space for solid soap otherwise you have to put it direct on the sink. These small things can make this hotel better.

Beach is just around the corner, or if you fancy a walk turn right, not left. Yet it was on a very quiet street. You could see the sea from the balcony. Everything is nearby. Staff is lovely, room is nice and well equipped.

Unfortunately the shower was a bit leaking, which didn't bother me, but I guess it's generally not great for the building. Also a half pair of socks crawled out from the curtains, again didn't bother me, rather reminded to my ex. :D

The hotel's location is excellent and provides good value for money. Although some guests have complained about the absence of reception staff, I don't believe this is a negative aspect that detracts from the overall experience.

One aspect of the room that I did not particularly enjoy was the fact that it faced another building. In order to maintain privacy, it was necessary to keep the curtains closed.

What you see in the pictures of the hotel / apartment is exactly what we got... fantastic location, clean room and super comfy bed...

The only real complaint is that reception wasn't 24hrs, we arrived saturday evening, and a gentleman checked us in, no one around sunday, so had to message booking.com to fix room issue which was done monday morning.... And then no sign of anyone for our 5 day stay till we checked out and was a different gentleman on desk again.... So thus we wondered if it was more an apartment than a hotel...

quiet position of property in a side road but very close to beach and bars .

if you arrive after midday there's no one on reception you have to phone them so make sure your phone is charged you will get a code to enter and your room key and details will be at the reception desk. Quite smooth really no problem but first time i have experienced this .

Great bed and cushions. Very well isolated walls. You will not hear the neighbours snore. No noise from outside either. No cockroaches, very clean.

All good. Maybe a manuel for the hand shower. You need to pull the lid than turn open. I did not know that.

Breakfast not available, great location, small balcony but ok

Had kettle and fridge and crockery, had to buy coffee, sugar milk etc would have expected in the room for the price of the room .Room comfortable

Nice location friendly staff. More like an apartments then a hotel but that worked well for me.

There was no one there on our arrival so we had to call up and get instructions on what to do next to get into the building and then our room.
