Hotel Carlos III

Had no idea when we booked this, that it was right on the main street where the carnival parade passes along. As we had a room with a restricted view of this , the owner kindly allowed us to use a room being refurbished on the second floor with a view of the parade…this was a marvelous view and we stayed warm for the duration of the parade. Room was good, super comfortable bed and pillows were divine, towels were thick and of an excellent quality. My only gripe was the lack of sockets anywhere near the bed, an extension cord would fix that if you can bring with you, for our needs, right in the middle of the action, it was perfect

A good hotel, that is very central to everything in Aguilas. Close to the beach, the main plaza, and the shops. The bed was very comfortable, and the TV was good and large and also had Netflix. We went to the restaurant near the castle, Zoco del Mar , which was vey good, and easy to get to from the hotel. The staff were friendly, and helpful, the breakfast in the nice cafe next door was good too. We would return here if staying in Aguilas, gracias.

The brothers that ran the property were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, very central which, with the excessive heat, made it very convenient for everything. A really delightful little night away whilst trying to sort out my driving license!!!

Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working but they put us in a room on the first floor which meant that we didn’t have to carry our luggage very far.

Great location right in the centre. Breakfast was at the bakery next door so lots of choice and not too restricted on times. Everything really clean. Had no problems with wifi and TV had Amazon, Netflix etc.

No communal space. I needed to do some work so a space where I could plug in laptop would be good.

We are very happy when we are in Carlos III. Having fun, the staff is super friendly, we always have fun with the owners, the breakfast at Clendy very relaxed, the bed is super comfortable and the location top. Sorry the weather was not so good, but even the brothers at Carlos could not change that 🤪😀

The CA. King size bed! The linen smelled clean and the bed was awesomely comfortable. The room size was cozy as well. There's a small fridge. Shower OK. There was an AC unit in room but didn't have need for it. Big screen TV not useful to us. The balcony looking over a busy street gave a special touch to the room and the nice fresh breeze coming through gave a sense of relief. The noise level goes down once the window is closed & completley stops after hrs. Good WIFI. Beach, bars and restaurants within reach. Just make sure to go eat a hot meal before 3:30 PM! Great value for price!

Staff could have been a little welcoming. I gave them a 4 because they weren't abusive. Only their demeanor was sad both shifts encountered . No elevator but one staff member helped carry my suitcase to first floor.

Recevied good info for parking the car. Nice room. Good breakfast just outside the corner of the building.

More connection points for charging the mobile phone. Maybe a lose cable on the floor. Lamps with 3000K instead of the hard lighted with 6000K. Too hard light to be nice and useful.

Room is clean and comfortable, bed is large, staff is very helpful, location is great

No elevator, this is not good for people with joints problems No double glass on windows, which results in excessive noise sometimes Window curtains can be thicker

Huge comfortable bed and crisp white bedding. Great location Close to the beach and shops.

Peeling paint in bathroom but clean nevertheless.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Location in the centre of Aguilas was great.

Advanced check in process did not work. I would not have minded if they did not have one, but wasted time trying to get it to work. Shower took a long time to warm up, but was great when it did. No the hotel's fault, but the parking payment was a bit hard to fathom!
