Hospedium Hotel Continental

It is a lovely hotel, modernised and right on the beautiful beach. Quiet, cant hear anyone through the walls. Only one story high on low-rise Mojacar Playa, it has an open layout at reception that opens to the restaurant, patio and beach. After a 2 hour drive from Alicante in a rented car, I arrived after midnight and the receptionist was very welcoming. I immediately chilled, sat on my balcony and drank a cold wine under the stars, listening to the waves. The breakfast buffet was very good and available from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Loads of fresh fruit, and the scrambled eggs are good. Staff prepare the hot stuff fresh from the kitchen. I swam twice a day. Always got a space in the car park, although there's a bus stop right at the door if you want to spare yourself the hassle of car rental. I only stayed four nights this time, but next time I'll stay longer.

Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant was right on the beach so eating breakfast and enjoying an evening drink whilst looking at the ocean and listening to the waves was wonderful. Perfect location with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We'll definitely return.

I would have liked some sun loungers on the beach. If there had been we would have used the bar and restaurant more, whereas instead we drove to another beach where we could hire sun loungers. For the first two nights of our stay the pool was out of use and the area was roped off so they could have moved the sun beds to the beach.

Very clean and welcoming hotel. Pool area was very good and clean, never crowded. Location directly on beach very good. Breakfast excellent and lovely to sit looking out to sea. We had a car to go further afield but bus stop is directly outside hotel. A number of bars and restaurants close by but easy walk to livelier area. Free parking is a bonus.

We were in Room 1 which is right next to reception. Room is obviously designed for disabled guests (which we are not). Room was good but would have preferred to be on upper floor. Apart from that one small niggle everything was great.

We stayed in the rooms with seaviews and they were exceptional. Lovely little patio to have enjoy the views and listen to the sea. The room was a good size with adequate bathroom and as with all areas of the hotel, they were immaculately clean. Really good breakfast served with plenty of time options to eat. All breakfast items were kept topped up with a great choice for all tastes. The hotel is situated right on the beach with easy access to the town.

Can´t fault anything with the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Lovely little hotel right on the shoreline, very clean and friendly. Breakfast on the patio next to the beach. Continental breakfast with a good selection of cold items, with a few hot items cooked to order. Local bus stop directly outside to door and within a comfortable walking distance of numerous bars and Restaurants. I would particularly recommend Cokkia and Boabab. The sea view rooms are well worth paing the little extra for.

Nothing springs to mind, the hotel fully lived up to expectations.

Amazing location and view from our sea view room. Free car parking. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Great breakfast which was fresh and varied. Excellent customer service, staff were welcoming and friendly. Nothing too much trouble.

Very small thing it would be nice to have a pot of coffee or tea at breakfast so you didn't have to keep going to order one at a time and maybe to have tea making facilities in the room.

No reflection on the hotel at all, but our stat was spoilt by the person who moved jnto the room next door 3 days into our stay who proceeded to cough in a disgusting manner ALL night! Horrendous, and we had little slept that night. We were offered another room and the staff did try to resolve this. The joys of hotel stays with disrespectful neighbours!

All of the staff were fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Lovely well presented hotel with a great pool area. The room was spotless, really clean with fresh towels daily. We had booked the Superior room. It was really nice with a balcony withsrs view and also a view on the opposite side. The room had a seperate living/lounge area from the double bedroom with en-suite. Very nice. We were on a bed & breakfast basis and the breakfast is simply fantastic. The complete choice of breakfasts came in the price - continental or full cooked. Whatever you wanted - it was there and available. My wife and I could not fault the hotel. Simply fantastic. We intend to return to Mojacar in the summer and will 100% be returning. The hotel is right on the beach but is at least 20 minutes walk from the centre of Mojacar, but for my wife and I this was no problem as we like to walk. But I feel it should be mentioned. very clean, beachfront, quiet location but good transport services. friendly staff & lovely terrace area overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. room cleaned every day fresh bedding & towels. lovely pool area with beds & seating area.

noise from the road. mostly only Spanish speaking staff. TV in room wasn’t worth having but not a big deal for us personally. We were in the annex & very noisy at night when guests opening & closing doors no matter how quiet you try to be.

This was a typical room. Decent size, nothing fancy, very basic. Nice balcony, clean bathroom, good parking, good breakfast. Best was the location right on the beach. Bit of distance from town center, but it is walkable. Also, bus stop in front of hotel was handy. Be aware no elevator. Would have preferred double bed rather than two singles pushed together. At breakfast you need to request certain foods, such as eggs or bacon.
