Ryu Guest House Gangnam

Denny is very friendly and made my stay comfortable and helped with all the questions. Thank you! Location is good not fare from subway near 10-15 minutes by foot with some shops on the way. Some cafe around for breakfat and for wine in the evening. All the facilities in apartment , a full kitchen, there is a microwave and even a multicooker, a washing machine.

The appartment was at the minus the first floor. Its I think was the only minus but not significant for that price.

The staff was so friendly, she spoke excellent English. Helped us to check in, brought us to our room and explained the rules of the guest house. The location was great. Just a 7-ish mins walk from Apgujeong station exit 4, there are serval convenience stores around and some restaurants too (one or two of them are even 24 hours!~) Room was so spacious! Well heating and really very big! There are shampoo, conditioner, towels and stuff but would recommend bring your own. Would stay here again!

Friendly helpful staff, perfect location (in the middle of Gangnam), large room with seperate bathroom and hang out area with extra table. Beds are comfortable and spacious. Each bed has a nightstand with light and charging stations. Wifi works. Kitchen space downstairs offers a fully equipped kitchen, free water dispenser and seating area.

All was good from the hostel side, the manager can't control how considerate your roomate will be or how many Mosquitoes will enter the room. That's the only thing that was annoying. The roomate that ate smelly food in our room even if she wasn't supposed to (eating is allowed only in the kitchen) and listening to her phone on the speaker the whole time (no headphones or what?), and the Mosquito that woke me up every hour during the night...

Situated in the bylanes of Gangnam Street, the apartment we stayed in was super cute and cozy. The staff Mr Denny and Mr. Joe, are very helpful, they helped us with a charger and weighing scale. The apartment was very well designed with a washing machine, refrigerator, microwave and all kitchen utensils. There is enough seating area and makes for a very comfortable stay.

The address given was of the guesthouse and our apartment was at a 5min walk from the guesthouse. We weren't aware of this and were not prepared to make that walk with all our luggage in hand. The washbasin has a leak so the sink water would spread on the bathroom floor.

There are a couple buildings in the same neighborhood. If not already aware you’ll come to realize that this is actually one of the hippest neighborhoods in Seoul (Sinsa) very local not touristy. Very clean room.

Wasn’t aware that in my room shower is not separate and within the toiler area, but was ok in operation. Just had to plan when got wet. Overall value was there for this.

I wanted to write the review as soon I get there. Gosh, where do I begin, I traveled by myself to Seoul and I feel so lucky to have found this place, as I feel so safe, so welcome, the staffs were so helpful, so polite, always there when I need them yet I feel a sense of freedom like they’re not in my way. My room was huge, with 4 lockers that has digital codes, and my door was digital as well, so convenient!!! There was a section to put your shoes, that was so cute! the bathroom, the desk and the counter was tucked away so you don’t see them when you’re sleeping. the day bed/couch was also a great addition If you have guests, but I used it for my luggages. Location was PERFECT, since I like quiet with easy access to the noises, I appreciate walking 7-10 mins to the main streets, but you can get anything around the corner. thank you for much for being such good hosts you guys! i hope to stay there when I come back to Seoul. 10/10 I see what the raves was all about!!

The location was very centralized and easy to find. Denny and the staff are very nice and helpful. The room was quite comfortable but I was also alone for most of my stay in the shared room. I’m not sure how I would feel if there were more people there for more nights due to the layout of the room and beds as they were quite out in the open. It’s just something I’m not quite used to with guesthouses.

Great staff, very helpful and kind. And in a good location - close to Metro, convenience stores, and coffee.

It is not fancy, but it is clean and well maintained.

I've been staying at Denny's several times and I'm never disappointed - everything is so nice, clean and comfy. the location is one of the best in Seoul and Denny is the most helpful and nicest person. thanks as always!

Very well appointed rooms - possibly the best night sleep I’ve ever had in a shared dormitory style room! Lovely, helpful & chatty staff. The design and layout of the rooms has been carefully considered; I particularly liked the separate dressing table area in the female dormitory. Very clean and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
