Hotel Venue-G Seoul

I loved the location since near public transportation and alot of good food + convenient marts etc, and to be honest, there is only 1 specific staff that I like (unfortunately they don't wear name tags) but is the plump guy and he's very friendly and helpful with sufficient English and Japanese but there are 2 others whom I dislike which I will write in the DISLIKE section. Not much facilities but is a basic hotel so for the price, is VERY worth it. Space is so-so, pretty good for solo travellers but might be bit tight for couples and above.

With regards to the staff, the girl was quite aloof as if not to care overall (I asked her to book me a taxi asap as I was late for my appt but she kept insisting I take the MRT cos she "couldn't get one due to rainy weather") and the other skinny guy saw the queue of people yet went the other way to avoid. Cleanliness is bit of issue cos I kept finding long black hair every now and then so made me think they didn't do the best job in vacuuming, wiping and replenishing toiletries.

Very friendly staff! The housekeeping was sooo kind and did their job perfectly! I had loud neighbours and called the reception and they immediately helped me out and called the other room. Also very helpful with directions or tips on what to do/see. The room was very nice with the perfect size. It had everything we needed. Location wise it was also perfect! Only a few walking minutes to Line 1,2 &3. 7 eleven was also very close. Just 10min walking to the central shopping street in MyeongDong. Also the fotos matched the hotel!

One time my room was left open after housekeeping was there. I went to the reception to ask and they apologised.

The room was good, Nice view, room always clean.

The internet didn't work all the time. Once I didn't have internet almost all the afternoon and I was working that day.

Had a very pleasant stay. We stayed in a room for 3 people and was spacious enough for all of us. Hotel facility was overall very clean and room was also very clean. Hotel staff were all helpful whenever we needed help with anything and communicated with decent english. Perfect location for busstation and also subway station, only 5 minute walk for respective transportation. Convenience store is 2 minute walk from hotel and it is also connected to a café.

Bathroom could've been a bit bigger but still good. Although hotel staff were very helpful they could've been a bit nicer.

Very comfortable rooms, our superior double had a huge comfy bed and enough space for our family of 4 to gather together. It was quiet and clean and just round the corner from the Jongno3-ga tube station, so a good central location for seeing the city and just the airport train and 3 stops on No. 1 line to get here from Incheon Airport. There were quite a few options locally for grabbing food, even late into the evening. Our rooms were both on the ninth floor, on each side of the building and both had nice views across the city with mountains in the distance. For the price, I think excellent value. The breakfast room was being renovated at the time of our stay and the coffee shop opened a little too late for us (9am), so we didn't get to try them, but that proved a very minor inconvenience as we got to explore other options.

Just be aware of the windows if you are high up especially with children. Unlike a lot of hotels they actually open properly, which is nice, but we were on the ninth floor and they open easily and wide!

Staff who work in front desk are very nice n polite n helpful. Room is clean n quiet.

only I have problem is Air condition, you can’t control yourself.

The room was fairly spacious with space to hang clothes (not available everywhere). The hotel was in a great location, close to transport links, nightlife, bars and eateries and a short walk from some of the major attractions.

Staying for 8 nights maybe a small chest of draws, but we did manage with the bedside draws as we like to completely unpack for that length of stay. Would have liked some English Breakfast Teabags, instead of the two Green Tea. Fresh milk would have been great too. Bathroom was very cramped but we managed, one at a time.

Overall this is a really nice Hotel. Great location if you want an authentic experience of the hustle and bustle of Seoul - but the hotel is like an oasis - clean, quite fancy, and basically silent. The view we had was lovely, and there were still 11 floors above us! Daily housekeeping, and possibly the highlight was the fancy toilet water squirty thing. Also, the price was a bargain for what it was.

Quite a small room, but not uncomfortable. Hotel staff didn’t know much English, but it didn’t make much of a difference. Quite far from touristy bars.

The staff was friendly, the room was great and the location was in the center, close to the subway. Everything was very good. We took a room without a window to avoid any sound from the exterior. It was very calm except sometime from other neighbors

The only thing that bother us is the automatic light in the corridor when you want to go to the toilet. So during the night, if you want to go to the toilet, it'll light up the room and it's very annoying. We didn't find any switch to turn that light off. Even by removing the card from the room, this automatic light still works so ...
