Omelette had more fillings than egg😭

The customer care is far above the rest compared to all locations that I have ever gone to in the past. The man at the reception was a very pleasant man that made my family feel a warming welcome. The management found we came from far and assured us a special room with the view of Table Mountain. That was just another special act from a team of people who have pride beyond salaries in my opinion. The rooms are absolutely beautiful looking like a well manicured lawn. The room was very comfortable and large than it looks in the pictures and compared to others. The delightful pool with toys for children making it a perfect place for families as my daughter is asking for us to return as soon as possible. Now we got to talk about the food for days. Delicious food well prepared for kings with a large selection for all cultures and religions too. The price for all these wonderful food and places is well worth it.

The confusion of rooms and multiple bookings is about as close to finding something I didn't like.

The staff at the front office were very helpful and welcoming. They also share a lot of helpful information, which was appreciated. The hotel is red and warm coloured, which makes you feel right at home. The restaurant is lovely with some good meals and a great breakfast. One morning, there was an issue with power, but the staff did their best to make us comfortable and made accommodations for our breakfast. The rooms are relatively spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel was also great, a few steps from a neighbourhood mall which was convenient.

The shower in the bathroom is inside the bathtub, which is a challenge to navigate.

The service was lovely everywhere from reception, dining hall & room service. Special shout out to Zanele, Sibongile, Brenden, hotel support services & the young man serving at the dining hall... pity his Xhosa name escaped my mind now that I'm writing the review. Had a room with a beautiful table mountain view.

Wish they could have separate rooms when booking for more than 2 people. I was traveling with my 2 daughters & my nephew. It was so awkward since the space only has privacy in the loo. The beds are also noisy. U literally hear urserlf everytime you turn when u sleeping.

From the moment we checkin till we checkout everything was amazing i never felt so happy we are family of 6 with 3 girls and everyone at hotel was amazing for every moment we spent in that hotel i can write so many things about staff but unfortunately space is not enough. We needed halal food and they specially made it for us in breakfast one day they didnt have hash brown and chef asked my daughter what r u looking for and she said i cant see hash brown in breakfast and specially made it for us and this is just one thing i can keep sharing things about every staff who we met. If i ever get a chance to go back i will not stay in any other hotel. Thansk alot everyone for making our trip so wounderful and memorable

Everything was perfect

We had an absolutely amazing time and Sun Square is our new favorite spot. We was skeptical at first but this turned out to be one of the most memorable moments for us. We were celebrating 10 years of marriage and thought it good to also have our kids with us . We all had an amazing stay; a beautiful & clear room with all the amenities we needed. To Top it off, the staff, aaaaaaaalll of the staff (from reception to bartender and to waiters and the ladies changing our bedding); all of the staff was super helpful, kind and considerate. I would recommend Sun-Square any day. The breakfast was amazing and the kids also can't stop talking about it. Great facilities; pool and gym. We all had a great time and my son kept saying, "Wow daddy, this is the life,."

It would have been great to have a microwave in the room as the kids was not be able to finish either their breakfast or dinner in one go....having a microwave in the room would be great.

Breakfast was super, the staff were very helpful and friendly. More especially the guy that serve also at the pool area. Wow that guy is very fast and efficient. Forgot to get his name. Also the guy name Simphiwe who welcomed us at the reception. He was very friendly and patient and polite. He even helped us with taking our luggage to the room. He considered that I'm disabled and try allocate me the best and closest room. Thank you. I was sad because I left without seeing him again.

THE STAFF. In particular Simphiwe, Flora and Lenice. This is a lovely hotel filled with exceptional staff. They are so friendly and helpful. They will do their best to find answers for you and to fulfil your requests. The rooms are comfortable. The restaurant serves a lovely breakfast and good tasty food for dinner. Waiting staff are friendly and efficient. There is also a comfortable bar area and terrace overlooking the pool. We loved our stay so much that we returned for more nights when we returned to Cape Town. It is close to Company Gardens. There is a spacious car park.

Loved the accommodating me last minute part. The chef in the kitchen made a plan for my hubby's birthday and played something special and the way the entire staff came out with it to sing happy birthday. I really appreciate the extra effort.

The hot water in the shower took very long to get hot... Had to make the water run for a very long time before having a shower. It was probably because of where our room was situated,once it was hot it's was ok, the pillows were way to soft for my liking ....

Easy access to the city by car. Ample parking available and low noise levels. The view from the hotel room was also fantastic.

The load shedding is an inevitable feature in today’s South Africa. However whenever there was a power outage, the tv would switch on automatically. Also in the middle of the night. The AC was very noisy and we tried to keep it on minimally. The room does heat up quickly and contrast to the tv, the AC unit would not switch on automatically after a power outage.
