The breakfast was perfect! I would give 10 out of 10 for the breakfast. Variety of choices, big portion. The room is well decorated. Very unique and beautiful. Quite spacious. Love the space and that they have a nice sofa in the room. Love it that they have a nice rood top bar which is perfect for an evening drink. No need to go out.

The bed and the pillows are too soft. That’s not comfortable for us. The staff seemed to be helpful but there was a time that we asked for additional 3 bottles of water and we waited like almost an hour and after 3-4 times of follow-up calls. And at the end we only got 3. And they we stopped asking them again for the remaining days and bought ourselves drinking water. I think the location is nice that it’s in the heart of CBD. But it’s CBD and so, less shops, supermarkets, cafes, etc.

Everything! The service from the staff was incredible from the second we checked in - everyone was so helpful and beyond welcoming (it was mine and my sister’s first visit to Cape Town). Our room was spacious, clean, beautifully furnished and our bed was very comfortable. What took everything to the next level was the breakfast! It was Melbourne-quality breakfast and coffee, all included! We had brekkie at the cafe a few days but when we had early tours / day trips we were able to get room service (all included as part of our stay). The pool area - albeit a bit small - was very comfortable, clean and had a fantastic vibe.

Clean and modern decor, loved all the extra touches like the Marshall speakers in each room. Great location, just a short walk/uber away from alot of the main attractions. Breakfast was so good, very surprised at the level of quality and choice for an included breakfast. Would definitely recommend

The staff didn't mention the amenities in the hotel, ie the bar on 1st floor which holds live events, or that we could arrange for a massage at the hotel (even though we had asked for recommendations)

Really beautiful aesthetically. The rooms are lovely and the rooftop is stunning. Honestly though the breakfast was by far the best breakfast I have had in a hotel and rivals some of the best brunch places I’ve been to worldwide. Really nice to have a well made, a La carte breakfast!

Depending on where your room is there can be quite some noise. We initially stayed 1 floor below the restaurant and found it disturbing when we wanted to go to bed. The street can be a little noisy in the day time too but that didn’t both us. Whilst friendly, some of the waiting staff were quite slow in bringing menus or taking orders even when the place wasn’t busy.

The hotel is SO conveniently located in central Cape Town, making it very easy to walk around town for a little explore. And also easy to get an uber to go to V&A waterfront or Table Mountain. The staff was very friendly, the room were SPLENDID! There's so much snack, gym and yoga equipment, the bathroom was enormous and the bed SO comfy! we had a living room our in room 201 and it was very quiet. The rooftop was a clear highlight for us, the cocktail and breakfast menus are outstanding and it was just great to be able to dip into that pool to take a break from the hot scorching sun! Would defo recommend and come back!

The property is design forward, in a really good way. Everywhere looks stylish, but is also functional. The rooms were spacious, and well thought out. Lots of extras like Netflix loaded, choux buns on turn down service, personalised amenities. The restaurant / bar / rooftop pool and sun loungers is a great addition, it would be a cool bar to go to even if you weren’t staying. We wanted a central location for a couple of nights so we could walk to restaurant Fyn and see a different part of Cape Town, but unless you have a reason to be in CBD, I wouldn’t recommend this location over the other great options in Cape Town, like Camps Bay, Constantia, etc. The secure car park was a bonus and very handy to have the valet service for that - was easy for us.

There was an unfortunate moment one afternoon with a staff member wanting to restock the mini bar in the room when we were having an afternoon nap. Other than that, the staff were warm and accommodating.

stunning hotel! great for younger travelers as their rooftop has good djs in the evenings and also hosts events on the first floor. great art exhibition during my stay & the property was stunning. top tier breakfast is included in the rate & appreciated how close and convenient this was to get around cape town

nothing really— I do wish the pool was a bit more secluded from the restaurant. as it did feel a bit awkward going for morning swims so close to people having breakfast. but really a great property!

The hotel is trendy so if you are into modern design this is a place for you. Well-designed rooms, very clean, nice minibar selection, all the right qualities for a boutique hotel. Small but lovely and picturesque swimming pool on the roof and of course the main feature is the roof top restaurant. It is phenomenal for breakfast. Ironically quality of food and service at breakfast which is included in the stay is much higher than we've experienced at dinner that we also had on the rooftop.

the sound proofing isn't great, so if you have loud neighbors you'll know that...

The hotel was superb, a lovely boutique hotel in the centre of town within walking distance of the key places we wanted to visit such as Bo-Kaap and the V&A waterfront.

Finding the parking when we arrived was a bit tricky, but once we found it the valet service was very helpful and they would get our car whenever we needed it. The service in the restaurant was a bit slow at breakfast, but the staff were very friendly and the breakfast provided was excellent.

The rooftop restaurant atmosphere and food were great, and so was the breakfast. bed was really comfortable, and the staff was really nice, but do not expect many touristic advices from the reception.

there was a bit of a sewer smell at the entrance of our studio room, which was really weird and not permanent. but really not nice. we could also hear loudly the water pipe from the shower next door. we were woken up by the fire alarm one morning, which can happen, no problem. but se learnt later that one of the emergency exit door was sealed with a metal chain, not very reassuring. further to this, we were offed a voucher for the restaurant, but it was really difficult to be able to use it, etc. and we got the same voucher amount as individual guests staying in an individual room, which made no sense to us.
