The location was well for going outside, if you wanted to have some drinks or partying. The room was nice but the toilet was really small. The parking is next to the hotel, but you have to pay 100R each day, and leaving it in the street its not safe. You can walk in the street with care.

.if you want to sleep, this is just not your place. You can listen quite well the music outside, from the afternoon until 3 in the morning. Small toilet. Paying for the parking lot. You have to be with care if you go outside, with no valuables, and there are lots of beggers that will ask you money or food all the time, even walking at your side for minutes asking without stop.

The hotel rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Chido was an exceptional help and made sure we were comfortable.

I didn't appreciate that the room we booked wasn't available because of the hotel over booking, so our first night wasn't great. Chido did make an effort to make us comfortable, we did appreciate that. I would also encourage them to get a backup system for when there is loadshedding. We didn't feel safe when there was loadshedding because the main entrance stayed open and anybody could've followed us in during that time of night.

I loved the rooms. They looked clean and well maintained. Staff was available to satisfy any request and also helped us to find nice restaurants for dinner. Overall a very nice experience.

We had an issue on the first night with water in one of our rooms (we booked for 2 rooms as it was 3 of us). My friend and I had to change the room and we got a very nice upgrade. However, the water was missing again and we had to wait for the next morning to have the problem solved. Staff was kind enough to let us use a third room's bathroom. In addition, the hotel had a club underneath and music was very loud even at the second floor. Wouldn't recommend for light sleepers. The area is very characteristic but wouldn't recommend to people who prefer calm residential areas.

We liked the welcoming staff,our own balcony and the open balcony.We chose the downtown location because of the vibrancy We managed to walk from the hotel to the Waterfront and back,.All rooms were fine,and the air conditioning good.When we chose we could close all doors and slept well The shower was excellent.

I have to say that I am not a great fan of the thinnest toilet tissue,even though one can double or triple up..I know do not wish to criticise unnecessarily,but thin stuff could be a false economy ...Shrinkatiin not for me.

An excellent place to stay to immerse yourself in Cape Town's CBD and night life. Myself and my wife stayed here for 3 nights in room number 1 which is the room with the corner balcony. I'd recommend requesting this room as the balcony is double the size of the others and gives you the best view of lively Long Street. The rooms have double-layered doors which alleviate almost all outdoor street sounds and allow you a peaceful night's rest. The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

I would just recommend that they ensure to keep their lobby bar stocked as they were out of red wine when we came looking for a nice bottle of red for the evening.

Great location. Was exactly what I expected. In the central of Long Street don’t expect it to be quiet at night. Did get quiet after 2am, but this was no bother. They have an honor bar in the lobby for beers, wine, chips, etc. there are some stairs fyi. Outside on the street lots of clubs and some restaurants. Only 5minute walk from Kloof Street House - a wonderful restaurant. Overall I would stay there again. Our room, Number 1 was fabulous with a wonderful balcony overlooking long street. Awesome!

A bit noisy after 9 or 10 at night, but that was to be expected!

during power outage the hotel has no back up generators and if in middle of night anyone who needs electric, my hubby has sleep apnea and has to wear a cpap machine, can be a nightmare. Maybe this should be made clear on website/booking. com as hubby had to stay awake 2.5 hours during outage. Can be loud outside but not unbearable however kicking out time around 6am can be noisy and troublesome outside. We stayed 2 nights and an arrest each morning. safe enough to walk round in daytime but I didn’t at night.

The staff was amazing and really helpful. The receptionist made effort to help us with our requests and organised the parking for us in the middle of the rain. I appreciated that. They were all very kind. It is also recently renovated so everything is lovely and clean.

If you into cape towns night life then this is the best place for you. It is in the heart of Loop streetings best life. I enjoyed the location but would have enjoyed more soundproofing :-)

Loved the location. The room was impeccable. Lovely shower and tub. Located on a very populated street. Lots of security 24 hours a day. Felt safe.

No elevator. You have to carry your luggage up stairs. Because it’s a busy street some people could be affected by the noise at night. The sound proofing was pretty good and I usually sleep with ear plugs in so I had a great nights sleep

Located in the City bowl, it was only some minutes to the Company’s Garden with the Natural Museum ( Iziko) and to the Bo Kaap, many restaurants are nearby- for example Mamma Africa- very nice is it to sit on the balcony and look to the Table Mountain

Because of the nightlife it was really loud until the early morning
