Public House Hotel

Centrally located hotel, spacious and clean room, very good breakfast. Reception staff pleasant and willing to assist.

Sofa for the third person is not long enough, so it better fits the child than an adult. It is ok for a short stay, but this should be stressed out when booking for three persons. Cooling system in the room should be much stronger, especially because the hotel faces the city busiest boulevard and the windows cannot be opened both for the enormous noise and for pollution from such intense traffic. It would be nice to replenish the coffee supply each day and not put it only for the first day. It is not significant expense for the hotel while it is a nice gesture. Also, if the room is used and planned for three persons, it should contain three water glasses, three wine glasses and three cups, not two of each. Little things that make difference.

Hotel have excellent location, close to downtown, next to hotel is supermarket open 24/7. Rooms are big and enough quite even my room was directly on main street, you could use free parking upon request, hotel staff is willing to help you in every question you ask. I will gave to hotel 10 +, BUT..

When you book room be aware that hotel could (will) reserve MORE money than you book via booking (in my case almost 10 %). I try to explain then that they could not reserve more that total amount I agree on booking. Their explanation is that THIS IS THEIR POLICE (even I never read this before I book room) and they decide to reserve SMALL AMOUNT over the price as INSURANCE ... I ask to refund money when I Check out, but hotel explain than this will be done in SEVERAL DAYS and if I did not receive money back I could contact bank!!! Hotel release money immediately but have to wait the BANK... So if you like to stay please be aware that your money will be reserved and more than you expect. ALMOST 20 DAYS AFTER I CHECH OUT I STILL WAIT TO REFUND MONEY!!!!

The breakfast was delicious and the room was large. The location was decent - next to a large, beautiful park, which was great for our dog. It was about a 20 minute walk from the city center and most of the famous tourist attractions.

Though large, the bed was quite uncomfortable - the mattress was obviously old, as a portion of it was sagging on one side. The air conditioning in the hotel was not adequate. It was extremely hot in Belgrade during our visit (over 40 degrees Celsius) and despite having the small wall-mounted air conditioning unit on high, the room never cooled down, even at night. The room was clearly too large for the one pitiful air conditioning unit - despite paying for a large corner room, we would have been better served by a smaller room with a working air conditioner.

This hotel was a great find and one of the hotel highlights of our Balkan vacation. The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. Kudos for providing a cell phone for hotspot access to maps, internet, etc. Our quiet, street facing room was very nice with high ceilings and comfortable bed. There was off-the-floor space for accessing our luggage (which is always a bonus). The buffet breakfast with hot/cold food was fresh, abundant and tasty. Foods included meats, cheeses, pastries and fruit. There was (strong) fresh coffee always available which gave us a kick to our day. There's an 24/7 grocery store next door, which was nice for getting water and snacks. The hotel was within walking distance to the main tourist sites and museums.

*The hotel is in a very central location and is perfectly placed to explore the city on foot. The old town is only a 10 minute walk away. *The room was modern, clean and comfortable with beautiful high ceilings. Toiletries were provided, as were robes and a kettle/fridge (only x1 free coffee pod per stay. €1 charge per pod thereafter). *The breakfast was excellent. The selection of meats and cheeses was exceptional. Hot options were average at best, but the continental was so good that the hot option wasn't needed. *The hotel provide you with a small smartphone for the duration of your stay that you can hotspot to your own mobile and have free wifi when you were out and about, which was a huge bonus. I wish more hotels offered this! *The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly (with perfect English). We had an issue with our room, that the staff were very quick to help with. Christina was particularly helpful and pleasant. *The hotel arranged taxi is good value at €30 one way. *All in all, a great little hotel and I would return if in Belgrade.

*The air con/heating is seasonal (which I have never encountered before). The air con was not switched on during our stay in May, when temperatures were 27 degrees. The room was very hot and uncomfortable the first evening. Due to the central location, opening the windows for fresh air was far too loud. However, staff were quick to respond and provided a fan, which really helped. *The bathroom was small.

The location is in the best place possible, a market near you, 5 minutes to the center, a safe location, staff was very helpful, the parking is really really small but they parked my large SUV without any problems, not a scratch so if they can park that don't worry about a small car. Overall pretty good hotel, beyond cheap don't hesitate reserve there. There was already free water in the room with some free coffee, it's not a 5 star hotel don't get me wrong you don't get the attention you do in the 5 star hotels but it's really really cheap and worth for the money.

I was a little sceptic about the parking but as I said they parked it no scratches so 10/10 hotel

Amazing staff and atmosphere, location and store nearby that works for 24 hours. Very good breakfast and service. Comfortable room with enough space and cozy vibe. Free parking included. Definitely coming back.

From the bathroom was coming a sewer smell, so in order to remove it, we had to keep the light and the fan in the bathroom ceiling turned on for most of the time. Spa center is also included in the price, which is good, it contains sauna and jacuzzi. The only con is that the jacuzzi was not functioning as it should, parts were falling apart when you turn on the bubbles, and the water coming when you turn on the massage and bubbles was cold, therefore the water in jacuzzi was not hot, but more mild to cold. All in all it was amazing, with space for improvement.

If you were hoping for picturesque cityscapes or charming landscapes, you might be disappointed. However, it's worth mentioning that this aspect may vary depending on the specific room and its location within the hotel. Additionally, although the hotel offers parking, it's important to note that it is located on the street. This can raise concerns about the security of parked vehicles, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area. Furthermore, during busy periods, finding an available parking space might pose a challenge, potentially causing inconvenience or delays.

The location is excellent, walking distance from all the attractions, and still not very busy. The rooms are clean, the staff is extremely helpful. We really had a nice stay. Note: The property offers private parking but only with a driver parking your car, so keep in mind you have to announce some time ahead when you need the car, so that the driver can make sure that it is out.

This is not a negative but a suggestion for the management: for future investments we would suggest switching to a more comfortable bed, though it wasn't too bad, I think such a charming hotel deserves to offer the best comfort possible. Again, this is just a minor note, everything was great!
