Great location and very friendly staff. Room was very big and we had a lovely shower. Water provided in the room was much appreciated. The price was also very good for the location and quality of the room.

There was music outside until 2am and as we were on the very top floor we could hear birds on the roof early in the morning.

Parking was not as easy as expected Thin walls/floors and could hear others entering/leaving

The decoration and the commodities were simply the best. They have rabbits in the garden and they let you feed them!

Our shower didn’t work… which was a shame because everything else was superb.

We liked it very much, good location, clean rooms, staff very friendly and helpful, good value for money, and definitely on our next visit to Sintra this hotel it’s going to be our first option…

We had a problem with the location of our room as it was located on the top floor and we could hear pigeons very early in the morning and it did disturb our sleep, and after asking the staff to change rooms we were allocated one floor bellow and no more noises were heard also the management told us the problem would be resolved and I truly believe it will be…

The apartment is an old wine house which has more than 200 years old and the king and queen had lived there before. The location is great, a 5min walk to the town center. The gradma who served in the hotel is very friendly and nice. If I go to Sintra next time, I will go to this guest house again. The decoration is antique.

It doesn't provide breakfast if you need it, you should pay 13 Euro, which is too expensive in Portugal price.The facilitate of the toilet is too old, if it can be renewed, it would be better.

The location is superb, right in the centre of Sintra and close to several points of interest. The staff was highly friendly and accommodating, and even allowed us to park in the small, narrow street behind the hotel, thereby avoiding the parking fees. The room was very comfortable (we loved the big bed) and more than enough for what we needed. They kindly offered us a cot for our child. We didn't try the breakfast, but perhaps it might have been a good idea, since there are not many (good) breakfast options around.

Beware: Breakfast NOT included. Booking.com price includes breakfast (we budgeted for it) BUT arrived for breakfast and were told our room was “in the wrong building” so breakfast not included(???). Showed staff Booking.com listing and receipt; staff said it happened a lot but they had not been able to get their management to fix the Booking.com listing. It cost us an additional 20 euros plus over an hour frustration (trying to get them to honor it, they said hands were tied, then we had to wait another 1/2 hour+ until the “right building” patrons left. Ruined my morning and we lost a significant amount of our limited time to explore Sintra.

The room was very nice ... the entire place is like a very quaint country inn with multiple houses... The location was very convenient to everything and very safe to get around... So breakfast was not included even though it was in the information... apparently, they have 2 types of guest reservations, the people in the main house have breakfast included ... They charged us an additional 20 Euros for breakfast each day and it was served outside of the main breakfast room ...

The place was pretty good ... getting there was a bit of a struggle as the place is located in a non-public transportation zone so the taxis just drop you off outside of the zone .... this I felt should have been in the reservation writeup to let guests know what to expect as opposed to paying 20 euros for a short ride and still have to walk a mile to the place...

The location (for what I wanted) couldn't have been more ideal. Located within the city center up on the hill, close to road that leads to all the amazing places to see, close to good food and more! The lady at reception was probably one of the kindest people I've ever met. The room was large and spacious, bathroom was great, water pressure was good. Even had a large window that looked out onto the street. Absolutely epic place. I will Def be back!
