Hotel Torre Mar

Spotlessly clean rooms and hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Beds were comfy. Breakfast is in a lovely place upstairs and was really good! Such a great experience! Would definitely stay here again!

The shower over bath is a little old and could do with an upgrade. Nothing else i can possibly think of, everything was great!

It was wonderful to meet Isobel again. We were weary pilgrims after a long hot day in October. We were welcomed as old friends. Every process was efficient and friendly.

On our arrival we had walked through the town to the furthest end. But, next day we were glad to start our trek on the edge of town. Set on our way with clear instructions on where to turn off the busy road.

The receptionist, Ezabel was so welcoming, friendly and provided really useful info, she even went to the trouble of ringing a local restaurant to check it was still open because she knew i had walked the camino and was tired. The room was spacious, and quiet. The shower was hot and powerful, and the room itself was wheelchair accessible for those that need it. There is a bar in the hotel, unusual for hotels with such a reasonable rate. The breakfast was fantastic, the view from the breakfast room was fab. This hotel has a relaxed vibe, really helpful friendly staff. It’s not a brand new hotel but it is seriously good value for money.

Location is good. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Brekfasts were good but need to note that there was no variability. The same things were available everyday. We were ok with what was available and that was enough to satisfy our needs.

It was at the farthest end of Povoa de Varzim, so tiring to get there, but saved a long walk next morning. Isabella was very helpful to put us on the right path for the Camino

Isobel’s worked so hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible. A big thank you to her and an excellent hotel that we would definitely go back to if we come back to the area again.

The owner of the hotel was exceptional and extremely kind. She went out of her way to bring me to a gluten free bakery and drove me to the bus station. Thank you for your amazing hospitality.

Location was a bit far from Camino. Still thankful I had a place to sleep

The rooms are comfy, everything was functional and the receptionist was really thoughtful She prepared me a small bag for breakfast because I was leaving on the Camino before breakfast time.
