Sao Felix Hotel Hillside & Nature

Lovely hotel in a beautiful, quiet location. Very friendly and polite staff everywhere, lovely swiming pools and sufficient sunbeds. Breakfast is good. Must say the restaurant was the best part of our trip. Amazing dishes, good ambience, you can have your dinner indoors or outdoors.

Being a 4-start hotel, there are a few things that must be improved. We stayed in a Superior room, but A/C was too noisy to use at night (even in slowest mode), our mattress and pillows were really hard, and wifi on the room was very weak/intermittent.

property is lovely and in a fabulous location. it’s very clean and has breathtaking views of the local area out toward the sea. the food was very good just not much variation when you are there all week, also limited breakfast if you don’t want pastry or bread. there was a couple of cereal items and some fruit the hot breakfast items are scrambled egg, sausage and bacon.

The beds were really firm, dinner is served really late

the pools were big and good. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom had everything we needed. We booked two rooms as a family and they made sure to book them next to eachother. The breakfast was a nice buffet and had everything we wanted. The location is beautiful and not far from the beach. A nice getaway. Also the airconditioning kept working when we left the room, which made our rooms nicely cold. Amazing in this heat wave.

The public bathrooms by the pool was closed due to covid, understandable but it was a bit far to have to go to your hotel room any time you needed to use the bathroom. That was the only minus point of our trip.

Exceptional view and facilities. Very quiet room, with very good sound isolation from the exterior for a good sleep. Very comfortable stay.

Wi-fi coverage inside the room was poor and limited work capacity. Full breakfast starts at 08:00 only. As I was in work and have to leave early, this limited the possibility to enjoy all the foods.

Everything was amazing! Our highlight was the top-notch service. Everyone was very sympathetic and attentive, we felt comfortable all the time. The restaurant was very delicious and affordable, we‘ve eaten there every evening. The view is amazing. The room was nice, the mattress not to hard, not to soft.

I read in someone's review that it was close to the Camino santiago track. This place is nowhere near it. It was a long way away if you have to walk to and from the Portugese track.

The room's patio area and the view were amazing. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and really enjoyed it. The bed was very comfy. Breakfast was real good. It was a nice location for playing golf at Estella Golf Course.

The internet was not good. We had to go to the lobby to get sufficient connection to do any real searching.

The views are fantastic with the hotel on top of a large hill overlooking the whole area including the sea. Food was good with lunch time meal as well as evening meal. Good place to stay for a restful stop on our tour of Portugal, Spain and France. The restaurant staff were also very good.

Don't know anything we didn't like, it was a delightful place to stay.

The hotel was excellent, the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The service was fast and efficient nothing was a problem for them.

The tap in the bathroom sink was modern and difficult to operate. But only for the first couple of times, once used to it it wasn’t an issue.

Location is wonderful, the view is amazing, the staff are very kind and helpful and the breakfast is delicious.

There just two minimal things I would improve, the bed is not so comfortable and the some parts of the hotel smells like old stuff, but all the rest is impeccable.
