Villamar Style Maison

The staff works very hard to make this a good place to stay . Everything was really as good as it gets. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious . The staff was courteous and helpful.

If I had to nitpick I would say that the shower door in our particular room did not close all the way so water got everywhere inside the bathroom after a shower but no big problem .

The location of accommodation is very quiet in short distance to the historical center of city. The team were very nice to us and very helpful. We were here maybe 1 hour before chech-in and lady from the reception was very kind and offered us waiting in area with swimming pool. Everything was ready for us in few minutes, she gave us very good tips for trips and eating. Breakfest were tasty and various. Our room was spacious and quiet although it was next to the main door of building and reception.

Extra bed for my child was not comfortable. It makes a noise, I was able to hear every one movement of him.

-Property has plenty of parking. Gate closes in the night and you are given a code to open/close the gate. Found this very safe. -It is only a short distance to the beach and we felt safe walking. -Owner was very nice and helped us with some restaurant tips and places to visit in Nazare. -Room was large and the bed was very comfy. -Big wardrobe too with a minibar inside to keep our drinks cold. -Breakfast was tasty and liked the terrace upstairs. -Couldn't use the pool as one of the lights came out and it wasn't safe to use. We were a bit disappointed but we could understand that these things happen and that it wasn't anyone's fault for this. The owner tried fixing the issue asap.

Everything was perfect, we will be back here in the winter for the waves.

This small hotel was absolutely fabulous. We did not use the pool as we travelled during February. The room my daughter and I stayed in was spacious and lovely. Beds were very comfortable - best night sleep after many days of travelling around the country. Super friendly staff, including the owner. Great location, within walking distance to the beachfront and many restaurants. Bonus - it has secure parking in the complex, which is extremely rare in Nazare. We will definitely be back.

What can I say - except that there was nothing to dislike at all about Villamar Style Maison. Other than I'm telling you all about how great it is, so hopefully next time I travel to Nazare I can still book a room.

Villamar Style Maison was beautiful, clean, quiet and the owner was very welcoming and kind. Poolside was amazing, but if you want people, surf and sand then the enormous beach is nearby and lined with tons of restaurants, bars and shops. Also nearby is the “elevador” or tram. 4Euros buys you a round trip to/from the cliffs where you can walk to the lighthouse, see the unusual “Veado” sculpture and go down to Praia do Norte Nazare (aka North Beach) which holds the world record for largest wave ever surfed. Beautiful place to watch the sunset, even when there are no waves. There are places to eat and drink up on the cliffs as well as a very talented guitarist who serenades you as you walk towards the lighthouse.

I have zero complaints about the property. It was perfect and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Good location for walking into the city center and beach. Very nice and quite big swimming pool. Modern place, good breakfast like in many places in Portugal white bread, jam, fruits etc. We had 2 balconies to use. Very nice pool area and good sun taking chairs. Beach is long and with nice view. In the city centrum everything is available. 5 min walk from the hotel into the city center.

Too close to the road, could hear the cars driving, but this is normal in the city center, we had a top house rooms, there were some little stairs to climb, elevator was available (very slow elevator).

Exceptionally comfortable and clean hotel with airy spacious rooms. Staff were fabulous and maintained a lovely relaxed environment. The staff who managed breakfast were particularly lovely and did a super job. Pool was a real bonus as nearest Nazaré beach not best for swimming. It was a perfect location for our family's 4 day stay in Nazaré.

The hotel was clean and well run. Breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful. It's an easy walk to the beachfront or to the funicular and only half a block from the bus station.

There was nothing that we did not like, but it would have been nice to be able to have a meal in the hotel cafe on the odd day when the weather is not ideal to go out for supper.

Loved everything about our accommodation here! It is only a short walk to the main street and close to where the buses drop off and pick up. The owner is a super nice lady! Nothing was any trouble and she was so helpful with suggesting places to eat and things to see and do in Nazare. Breakfast included a wide variety of food choices.

The property is quaint with very comfortable accommodations. The bunk beds are on the wall in a cabinet so they are unobtrusive when only accommodating 2 adults. The bath is small but well laid out. Breakfast was good. Similar to all breakfasts in Portugal.
