Hotel Oceano

Best food with delicious fish! The cooking was excellent. Very good behavior and service. Nice location with sea views from restaurant and from the balcony.

The hotel was nice.

Central location on the Nazare sea front - easy access to restaurants, bars and the beach. We booked a room with sea view and had a nice balcony overlooking the beach. There are additional balconies on the front that any guest can access. Comfortable bed. We arrived early afternoon so after check in we had lunch at the restaurant downstairs. The sardines and salmon were delicious :) Both the hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly.

Breakfast was a bit basic, but once we found we could make delicious cheese toasties in the toasting machine, we were happy :)

Breakfast was ok maybe a sausage would have been nice but the great chef made me poached eggs as I cannot abide scrambled eggs nice choice though eggs perfect We were on the third door overlooking the sea beautiful but the room was very small just about get around the bed so two days was ok think any longer would have sent me nuts the side rooms are bigger and there is a balcony on the front everyone can use for a ciggy or a cold evening beer it seats 4 + and the rooms are cheaper and bigger yes I would stay here again

Great location across from beach and water. In the middle of the beach stroll clean room. Over all nice place Cleaning staff was very good. Flavio (maybe incorrect spelling) was really great on the front desk. Great folks in restaurant

Some staff very un friendly no safe in room and few places to plug in phones in room Coffee from the machine at breakfast isn't worth the free price. Terrible for a country with great coffee places almost on every corner.

The staff was great! They held my luggage for me after I checked out. When I asked for a wine opener, they opened the bottle for me, put the wine in a bucket of ice and then carried it up to my room for me with a glass. Very sweet. I also loved the location, my balcony and that the room included free breakfast.

No real complaints. The room itself was clean but pretty basic.

Situated perfectly the hotel is beach front . The beach is wonderful with traditional brightly painted portuguese fishing boats . The restaurant is lovely and reflects the family run ambience of the place. It seems to be very popular with local people. Staff are very helpful also. We were lucky enough to see some big waves off Praia do Norte and watched the professional surfers most of the day from the lighthouse. Get the furnicular rail up there to the top, it was only 3 euro return and well worth it. People from around the world are all together worshipping the waves and no wonder , they rise from the sea like mystical beasts , proper bucket list stuff . You can buy food and drinks from the food sellers while you watch the waves roll in. If you stay at the hotel in a hire car , google the car park behind the market hall before you set off and save yourself some hassle as street parking is 3 hours daytime max which caused us some stress.

The noise of the refuse collection at 05:30, reminded me of home.

Surprisingly good hotel at the beach front. Of course, there is traffic and party people around, but that's what you would expect at this kind of location. Check-in was easy. We could park our motorcycle at the side of the building. Otherwise parking situation may be tough.

Simple breakfast is okay, but the coffee was much below Portugal standard.

the location, the staff. the food in the restaurant is good, we tried barnacles from the restaurant.

we took family room and the tv and bathroom doors were not working properly, we told the staff about our issue and first they changed the tv and next day they changed the room, we didn’t get the family room but allotted 2 rooms which was a bit annoying.

I made a very last-minute reservation, and they accommodated me with no problem. They also responded promptly to my messages. The room was great, with excellent air conditioning. The location of this hotel is also excellent, right in the main area on the beach.

The wifi in the room was not reliable.

The room was nice and clean with a lovely view of the ocean. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was fine. The hotel was on the ocean road facing the beach.

The WiFi didn't work or didn't work well most of the time.
