The hotel location is excellent! Could not have asked for anything more convenient. We had reservations for an Enoteca and it was a quick 4 minute walk to get there. Free parking was just a 7 min walk away. The staff was helpful and let us check in early. Breakfast was very good with great healthy options. And we won't forget the rooftop bar/area that we used both evenings - peaceful little area to relax with a glass of wine.

AC wasn't working properly and would go from cooling to venting only all the time. We let the staff know upon check out. We also told them about a musty smell in our washroom.

The rooms on the first floor are pretty noisy in the mornings as the staff prepare the breakfast buffet. They start around 6am, so if you're an early bird, no big deal. It cost us some sleep though.

Great, modern amenities, fabulous breakfast, and an absolutely gorgeous staff! The size of the room surprised us -- there was much more space than we expected, and I had room to work (thankfully, the wifi is solid, too). The hotel is perfectly located for a quick walk to the Templo Romano and Sé Catedral, as well as an easy wander to Praça do Giraldo and the Igreja de São Francisco with its Capela dos Ossos. Thank you to the staff, too, for booking us into a night of Fado -- a phone call we weren't comfortable making, due to our complete lack of Portuguese -- but an absolutely fun, memorable night!

Nice property in a very good location, only steps away from the historical center. The public areas are nicely decorated with a lounge and terrace to relax. The room is well equipped with small fridge, safe, coffee machine with complimentary coffee and water. The ladies at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Knowing that parking in the area is nearly impossible for non residents we preferred to leave our car in Evora Parking, which is a large public (free) parking 500 meters from the hotel.

Our room was in the lower section and we could clearly hear the guests in the room above as they were moving about. The bathroom lighting is poor and definitely not helped by the dark floor.

The hotel is somewhat 10 to 15 minutes by walking from the bus station, which is a bit far when one walks in the unbearable high temperature in summer. The hotel is air conditioned, including the reception lobby and rooms. Staff are friendly, willing to share tourist information. City map is provided upon request. Breakfast is reasonably good. The hotel is around 3 minutes by walking to the city centre (Praça do Giraldo) where one can find cafe, restaurants, Apotheke and souvenir shops, etc.

Room is small. The table is also small and somewhat occupied by a coffee machine (capsuled coffee is provided). The only window in the room is above the head level and always blocked by a wooden plank, probably because the strong sunlight from the morning to around 8 pm in summer.

The location was excellent and walking distance from all the main attractions/historical sites and restaurants. Very nice breakfast and small rooftop terrace with a view of the surrounding area. The staff were all extremely helpful.

The room was pleasant. However, there was a leak from the bottom of the shower that produced water that flowed into the bathroom floor and under the wall into the room itself. The dark colored water damage was visible on the wooden floors on the room itself.

The hotel was exactly as it shows in the pictures! The room was clean, beautifully decorated, the staff was really nice and helpful and the breakfast was delicious! The location of the hotel is great, right next to the roman temple and Praça Giraldo! you can easily do everything in the city by foot!

The only thing that bothered me a bit was the lack of space on the bathroom sink, we could only leave our toothbrushes and paste there, nothing else…the rest of our toiletries had to stay in the bedroom and sometimes this was annoying. But this definitely wasn’t a dealbreaker and I would still return there!

I had requested a room with few stairs because of knee issues and our room was large with two windows and only three stairs! It was well equipped for suitcases and had good space for hanging clothes, etc.. Also available to us were a library, honour bar and outside terrace. The location was fantastic in terms of distance to major attractions of the old town and excellent restaurants. The staff was always helpful and friendly and the included breakfast was delicious!

Templo Hotel stay was fantastic! The beds are comfortable, with a selection of pillows. The towels and linens are very nice. The room was stocked with everything you could need; soaps, shampoo, conditioner, coffee (caffeine and decaf), tea, and sugar. The hotel breakfast was delicious, with full meal options, including fruit, cheeses, breads and pastries, cereals, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon and juices. The staff is excellent!! They did everything they could to make sure our stay was comfortable. The hotel is in a very well maintained, very old building, with a lovely rooftop patio with great views. I will definitely stay at Templo Hotel when I return to Evora.
