Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa

This hotel is luxury. Its has a beautiful setting with lovely well kept grounds. Its spotlessly clean. Staff are plentiful and can't do enough for you. The resort doesnt feel busy and no area is crowded. It felt exclusive. Pool areas are well kept and staff are there to assist. Waiter service at the pool is fantastic. The beech is down steep steps and is a relatively quiet cove. Staff are also on the beech with towels and sun loungers. The resort has a number of restaurants and I would advise looking at these in advance as information such as menus on site is very limited. We booked our evening meals just before flying out. Mini golf is a must, its a great little course. Room was spacious and had lovely superking bed and a balcony with great views. Our stay here was exceptional.

It is a pricey stay. You will likely eat and drink all that you do, within the resort and its not cheap. You can soon run up a heafty bar/restaurant bill. That said it was faultless.

Breakfast is unbelievably good. Many choices and exceptionally fresh. The staff overall were wonderful, enthusiastic and welcoming. It was a wonderful stay from that point. The resort is very pretty and situated with gorgeous sea views.

The rooms, they are old and tired and could be redone. I understand it is a resort with many families and kids with wet swim suits running around, but it just needs to feel more luxurious for the rates they are asking. Also the gym is very small for the size of the resort. Some things are just a bit old and need updating.

Property was expectational, clean and well thought out. Kids club was good as was pool areas and health club. Breakfasts had a wide variety of food. Beach was close by and property is well deserving of a 5 star rating.

Staff, staff and staff. Whilst all very polite, they were regularly forgetting orders and taking an eternity to process things when they did actually remember. More staff and training needed at restaurants.

Our stay at Vita Vila Parc was exceptional. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the service was some of the best I have ever experienced. All of the staff was incredibly accommodating and sweet with our child. The resort was extremely baby-friendly. Our room was large, and we had multiple terraces, including a rooftop, which was a nice surprise. The golf-cart transport option through the resort was really helpful for carting around our baby and all of his items, and a fun way to see the grounds. The breakfast was excellent, consisting of a hot station (omelettes, eggs done any way you please, pancakes, waffles, crepes), a cheese/cured meats/smoked fish station, a beautiful selection of pastries and fresh breads, jams, honeycomb, and spreads, a vegan/healthy station, and cereals, fresh fruits and yogurts etc. It never felt too busy and everything was incredibly fresh and high quality. We particularly enjoyed the Palm Bar + Pool, and rented a cabana each day which only cost a nominal fee in consumables, which was easy to hit when you factor in some beverages and lunch. All of the dinner spots we ate on site were excellent, from the menu options to the service. The grounds were meticulously kept and felt magical especially at dusk and in the evening. We enjoyed it so much we even looked into extending our stay, but unfortunately we will just have to fly back to Portugal to spend more time at Vita Vila Parc.

I have nothing negative to say about the resort at all, but if you book the Vita Parc rooms (2 bedroom suites) just be aware that they are not technically within the grounds of the main resort area and therefore a bit of an extra walk. This was negated by the fact that you could call a cart to pick you up at any time, but it might be helpful to know for anyone with decreased mobility in case they want to be closer to the action.

Absolutely fantastic resort! The facilities, the staff, the rooms, everything was perfect. There was two excellent restaurants available for breakfast, one for families and one for over 12 years. There were 11 restaurants and the food was incredible in every one of them. Two of them, were 2 Michelin star. All of the staff were very attentive and very friendly. We stayed on a bed and breakfast rate and found that the cost of meals and drinks were very reasonable for the quality that was served. Our suite was very spacious, lots of storage space, had a beautiful ocean view and private rooftop terrace. Although the resort was busy, it never felt that way as the facilities were spaced out well and the restaurants were relatively small (this was really nice as the attention to detail was spot on and we never had an issue with booking the restaurant of our choice). There is also a shuttle bus to take you to the beach club and 3 restaurants but there is also a beach at the hotel. A special mention to the bar waiter, Samuel who was so friendly and hospitable. We will 100% return. we can’t wait to go back!

The location and grounds were beautiful! Staff was very attentive and nice. Enjoyed the mini golf and pools.

There were a lot of young families - the kids were going to breakfast buffet without parents and making a mess and not being very hygienic. The prices for the dinners were very expensive! And drinks too were very expensive. For the price we paid for the room, I expected it to be more reasonable. Felt like every little thing had an upcharge (i.e. had to pay for golf clubs and bikes, etc.) Also most restaurants did not have availability for reservations so we didn't really have a choice of the 7 restaurants.

Beautiful resort. Well maintained. Lovely grounds with lakes and animals. Direct beach access. Plenty of towels for the pools and beach. Great lounges and pool service. Very kid friendly. Kids club is great with great activities for the kids - tennis, swimming lessons, yoga, boot camp, mini club. You really don’t need to leave the resort. The managers are brilliant. They try really hard to make sure you are comfortable and having a great stay. My husband loved playing golf at the resort. The health club cafe by the indoor pool is excellent. The ladies working there are absolutely wonderful, thoughtful and go out of their way for you. It was hard to leave. Will definitely be back.

Nothing. Except the food quality around the pools could be a bit better. Overall very good and good prices but think they could do better quality snacks in some spots.

Vila Vita Parc has to be one of the best resorts we have ever stayed in, true luxury, it may be pricier than some other resorts in the area but it is 100% worth it! The room was wonderful, plenty of space to relax and make ourselves at home for the 8 days of our stay. The grounds were meticulously kept, the range of restaurants, pools, shops, mini golf... the amenities were exceptional. The many fabulous staff in the resort were ready to attend to our every need. We honestly wish we could've stayed longer!

Clean. Well organized. Well managed. Good breakfast. Nice beach. Definitely one of the best hotels in Portugal

Most of the restaurants inside of the hotel were fully booked, probably by outside guests, during our stay. To get a table you should book well before your arrival!!! It is very unconvinient when you stay in the hotel but can not use all the facilities. In a few available restaurants food for generally was not as good as you can expect from such a great hotel. Food in portuguese restorant Adega was surprisingly very low quality.

Great resort. Had everything you wanted from Restaurants (maybe add an italian), Health club, sports and an excellent golf course. We would definitely be back. I also think the shuttle service to the beach was excellent and the buggy service around the resort.

Things to improve: One staff member came in whilst there was a DND on the door (protocol around this needs to be tightened), the account had to be corrected multiple times when checking out with mystery in room dining items added on the statement. This can make a guest feel uneasy. Also the water pressure in the room shower needs improvement.
