3HB Golden Beach

Location was spot on, annoying little hill, but located half way up already, so was no drama. Always a sun lounger, although pictures can look deceiving, as if there isn’t many, but no issues. Big spacious and fully equipped rooms. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion included. No oven but microwave, hobs, fridge, small freezer inside. Pool bar had big range of drinks/food. Staff very accommodating and it made the trip feel like a home from home! Has luggage store and shower room for you to freshen up, for those on a later flight home. Use of facilities until night of the day you check out.

Just the little hill but cannot be helped and would revisit

What a beautiful place! I visited Albufeira for a short solo trip in March 2023 and stayed at 3HB Golden Beach. I stayed in one of the top floor apartments and the view of the ocean was absolutely incredible (see photos). The location is perfect - the hotel is 2 mins walk downhill to the beach, and 5 mins walk uphill to the 'strip' nightlife area. The apartment has everything you need - hairdryer in the bathroom, air conditioning throughout, fridge/freezer, kitchen essentials, plenty of seating, balcony in living room and in bedroom, shower gel / soap / conditioner in bathroom, free safety deposit box in wardrobe, daily cleaning, plenty of towels, and if you need an iron & ironing board you can collect them from the reception. There is also a gym, swimming pool, bar and plenty of sun loungers on site. This was my first trip to Albufeira and I will definitely be back, and when I do I'll be staying at 3HB Golden Beach without a doubt.

Nothing - could not have been better. The apartment was beautiful, the staff we're super friendly and helpful. Loved it!

Nothing was superb

Fantastic view made this holiday, relaxing, great beach location, the hill up towards town looks worse than it is, just a slow walk. Well equipped room, No noise issues like other places, Great helpful staff, looking forward to another visit, top rated holiday

It was perfect. The location, clean, staffing, all very good.

The pool is little small for the size of the hotel. No breakfast option. The one thing I would suggest is to add a handle on the outside of the balcony door. It is big and heavy, difficult to open from the balcony to go back to the room, since it has no handle. Maybe add some paper towels in the kitchen? My wife thought the beds were little to hard. Parking around is little difficult, hotel has only few spots for 15 euros per day.

The hotel was so clean and immaculate. I love the kitchen and the layout of the rooms. it felt like my own little apartment. I love the close walk to the beach. If you are into the partying the main strip with all the bars/clubs/ restaurants are a short walk away, all uphill though, it will take about 15 minutes to walk. There are small markets nearby to buy fresh fruit and food if you want to prepare your own food. All the pots/pans and utensils are there for preparing something quick and light. The old town center is good 30 minute walk from the hotel and it's a nice stroll. Getting a taxi from there back to the hotel is very easy and inexpensive.

The villa itself was very stylish and comfortable. The hotel had a good size pool and very friendly staff at the bar. It was always very relaxed in the mornings and livened up in the evenings

Unfortunately a shelve had come off its hinges but we realised it was only attached to plaster board so wouldn't be very strongly attached - I think that would be better to not have it there so it wasn't an accident waiting to happen (which I still feel very sorry for). Other than that it was perfect

There's only one thing which I'd like them to improve is blankets which were of not that good quality to keep warm. I felt cold in those and I think this can be improved ;) otherwise it was absolutely amazing stay. P.S they gave me extra blankets to cover it.

We stayed in June 2022 as a family with 2 children aged 12&14. The location was perfect with a seaview from our 2 bedroom appartment. It was minutes from the beach in one direction with bars & restaurants and more bars and restaurants and a strip in the other. It was a pretty short walk to the Old town too. The Hotel had a small quiet pool area with a small snack bar but it was perfect for our needs. The kids had great fun in the pool each day and jacuzzi. The Lifeguard was very friendly and kind to them. The bar was great with nice staff, the happy hour was always nice for a beer or two before heading out and we had some nice food there one day. All the hotel staff were very helpful and nice. It wasn't noisy for us but it might get busier during July and August. It is at the bottom of a steep hill which some people may find difficult to navigate. The Reception staff were great. We would definiately reccomend.

Great location, clean hotel. Room was spacious with large balcony with sea view. Pool area was great with lovely bar.

Proximity to the strip, but we were not affected by noise and could avoid it.
