Tropicana Suites

Had a room just next to one of the two roofdecks. They are great to chill and enjoy the view with a friend from sunset onwards, and unstaffed so open 24 hours. Room was really big and had a balcony. Bathroom had a bath tub. 5 min walk to Robinsons Place and 15 minutes walk to Manila Baywalk Dolomites.. even though not an easy walk due to high concentration of potholes, families living on curbs, motorbikes etc etc There's a gym and a pool but they're kinda unremarkable. Breakfast a la carte was good but, as often in the Philipines, only low fiber options in the menu. Luckily could get my shabu shabu cabbage bomb almost daily at robinsons.

Aircon loud and got me sick (not sure if because of unclean filters, too close to the bed, or just the average malate pollution). Bit pricey. They should put some rocks & corals for the fish to interact with inside the acquarium. The street the hotel is smells really bad; one morning while having breakfast at the hotel restaurant, had a look out of the window and saw a woman pooping on the street behind a parked car.

Big room, and very helpful and accomodating staff. Plenty of tv channels to choose as couldnt go out. Was on 10 days quarantine.

The location was excellent just around the corner from Robinson's mall and the LRT was just a short walk the other way to go to mall of asia also other attractions not that far eather, the room we had was very clean and the bed was very comfortable also the breakfast was very tasty, so all in all enjoyed my stay there and would stay again next time I'm in manila.

The staff was great. The breakfast (included in the price I paid) was delicious and included several options. It was very close to Robinson's Mall which was a plus.

I can't really say there was anything I didn't like except maybe the bathtub. That was only because it was a little difficult to get into and share with my girlfriend, LOL.

Staff were great and friendly; responded to our requests promptly. I love the location (compared to nearby hotels) because it is not along the main street which is very busy. Robinson’s mall is a walking distance. Would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Manila especially for the purpose of St Luke’s medical and the US Embassy appointments. We had a comfortable stay.

Big & clean rooms

Asking for bell service to get our lugagge while checking out but it took some time & our ride was already there. One of the room cleaners took out our vacant box supposed to be use for our things without asking our permission but they replaced it when we complained..

Good wifi. Close enough to immigration. Big room. Good balcony. Cooking allowed. Close to Robinson’s mall. Cheaper airport transfer but not free.

Scary to walk outside if foreigner. No 24 hr food service. Limited attractions.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite. Excellent room size. Air condition working in good condition. Water pressure with hot water- very good. Towels are new. Kitchen with kitchen wares are very useful.

The rooms are clean but a good deodorizer or a room air freshener is needed.

Super nice front desk staff. They gave me an upgrade when I arrived. Very comfortable suite with full kitchen and perfect bed. Due to the coronavirus some amenities were not available but that's not the hotel's fault since they were required by law to reduce options. Hotel is within 2 minutes walking distance to Robinson Malate Mall. I had to extend twice and the staff allowed me to stay in the same upgraded room for a discounted price.
