Fersal Hotel Malakas, Quezon City

Fersal on Malakas St. is my go-to hotel when visiting in QC. Have started staying since last year, and for this time, I stayed for almost a week, having to check out and in again, as I had out of town trips in between. The staff are all top notch - from the check in staff, to the wait staff in the restaurant, to the guards and housekeeping folks. It was nice to check in again after so many months, and to be recognized. [In fact, my mother forgot some precious photos which we were not aware of that she had left in her room when she stayed in October, but they set this aside and gave it back to me on this visit: 5 months later!] The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bed mattresses are firm - I've tried quite a number of these rooms and prefer those where the bathrooms have separators between the shower and water closet. I appreciate the availability of water jugs which you can fill with drinking water. The restaurant serves excellent Filipino food! Parking is available - and the location is near enough restaurants like Pancake House and fastfood places like McDonald's. Quiet in the evenings. Thank you to the Fersal, Malakast St. management and staff. Keep up the good work - and I hope to stay again soon!

I booked this hotel for my mother's 2-week stay in Manila - and then for myself and the family - and found the location perfect. This specific Fersal is situated on a relatively quiet street, but it was also an easy ride to the major streets. The helpfulness and courtesy of the staff was a highlight of my Mom's / our stay. The food was excellent, the rooms clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Quezon City!

Nothing. Wished I stayed longer to try more of the food that was served in the restaurant.

The hotel has a restaurant where you can do room service or order and dine downstairs. There are also nearby restaurants to choose from to grab some yummy food and pay reasonable price. The hotel is kind of old but equipped with basic traveler’s needs. Check in and out is easy. The hotel is really close to where we are going.

Nothing except you have to pay the deposit which the hotel will refund when you check out. We got ours back. They will deduct any damage or cleaning fee from the deposit if you leave your room with any kind of stain, broken appliance or furniture, or maybe cigarette smell.

I like the drinking water station in every floor of the hotel as it is very convenient. Breakfast was good. The place is within walking distance to several restaurants and convenience stores. There is a computer and internet rental across the street. Also there are a lot of taxis that pass by the street of the hotel which is a great plus.

While it was quiet during my stay, I found out while I was getting water at the corridor that there was no sound proofing as I could hear the music playing inside my room.

The staff at Fersal are amazingly kind and attentive. I was sick for a week and they patiently brought food up for me, delivered care packages from friends...and simply were very attentive to their tasks!! Stellar!!

Perhaps time to change their old refrigerators. Also no blow dryers in the shower room.

Its accessibility to PHC and Premier, not to mention the many food chains and convenience stores just within walking distance.

There was water dripping from the ceiling, right at the restroom light on our second night. Also, I booked for a room with queen-sized bed and we were billeted to a room with twin beds instead

Location is accessible to a lot of restaurants. We chose this place because my mom was admitted at Philippine Heart Center and this was the closest one we can check in. The staff is very friendly and they cleaned our room as requested. You can book online to save more money because they charge more if you pay up front.

The location is great, close to city hall and Quezon City memorial circle. Seven eleven is also close and several banks. Safe location, a lot of guards around. Security around the clock, friendly staff. I was unlucky and got Covid-19 as soon as I booked the hotel. Staff was friendly and helping all the way my quarantine.

I could not say that some things bothered me.

-Location is perfect. Lots of food places around! -Staff is friendly and quick to respond -Wifi is decent. Able to do my online meetings with no interruption

Good location close to hospitals, laboratory, restaurants and banks. Nice crew, clean. Internet was very good.
