Staff and Service is outstanding. One of the most friendly staff i have ever seen. Hotel is very nice. beautyfull pool and eating area. Rooms are perfectly clean and very nice. perfect shuttle service and one of the most beautyfull beach of the area quite close by (lio beach). food is great and drinks fantastic (specially mojito).

Shower was not really warm but thats ok at this klima. The walls are extremly thin. You can hear your neighbours and people in the pool area very well. Sleeping longer than 7 am is not easy.

Hello Ed, This is Michael and Malou. You met us at breakfast (long haired blonde guy and my beautiful angel.) First of all I want to personally thank you and Kat for suggesting and executing our fantastic experience at Velargo…we spent the whole day. It was an experience I will not forget. Secondly, I would like to bring your attention to what was created for us by Abdul and the housekeepers for our return to our room. Please see attached video. It made me cry it was so beautiful because I had spoke with Abdul about possibly going to the waterfall up north, Abdul said it was possibly dried up which I understood being from Hawaii. Abdul and the housekeeping staff as you will see..brought the waterfall to us… I have been around the world my friend, and I have never had anyone take such care as to create an artwork on my bed..let alone do it with such artistry and flair. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Please on my behalf share this letter with Abdul and the housekeepers who attended to our room as I would like them to know what it meant to us. Everything and everyone exceeded my expectations.

The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. We had issues with our ferry and had to reschedule the whole trip and they were there to help us out. The pool is very nice, the gym clean and well equipped, the facilities clean and green, the van service works really well. Breakfast was excellent and varied. All in all, great value for money, very close to the airport and to all the facilities and restaurants of Lío Beach. After exploring El Nido for a few days, we think the best options around El Nido were on that area. It's a bit further from the center of town but much more relaxing than other areas. There's a yoga studio as well.

Charlie's El Nido was the perfect location. All the staff were friendly and welcomed you with a smile. They provide a free shuttle service to the airport, Lio Beach, and town. Lio Beach was a great place to chill out and swim in the ocean. Charlie's El Nido has 2 nice smaller swimming pools to have a dip to cool off from the hot sunny weather and lounge around under umbrellas when there's a bit of rain. The bar and restaurant are steps away to order drinks and food. We did eat at the hotel a few times, but we prefer venturing out to try local places to eat. Just a walk down the road is a great little restaurant 86'd Gourmet Cafe and Bar. All the food was really good. Burgers, Nasi Goreng, and Pad Thai were so yummy. Town is not far away with lots of different restaurants. Highly recommend sunset viewing for cocktails at Piece of Sky, which is on the top floor of the H Hotel with gorgeous views.

The best hotel we stayed in the Philippines. The service is next to none. The friendliest staff who go over and above for you. Special shout out to Abdul and Love were amazing and so accommodating. The food was fantastic and was actually way better than the food we had in the town. The pools were great and we enjoyed using the gym. Extremely clean and well maintained. They have mopeds at the hotel you can rent and it’s only 10 minute drive into central town. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting El Nido, you will not be disappointed!

Nothing, it was great!

The entire place is constantly spotless. They clean constantly. The staff are all AMAZING and happy and so so helpful. The bar men, Reven and Nolits were so funny and really cheeky (a good thing) which made it fun and at times we were laughing a lot. The food was excellent too with very nice dishes from all over the world, not just Pinoy food.

Sometimes it was a little loud at night. But this stopped at 10pm. The ambiance was sometimes ruined by loud dance music when really some light jazz or some relaxing music could have been better. This was no fault of the hotels but a huge flock of birds were nesting in the tree by our room meaning they chattered and made huge noise all night. AGAIN THIS IS NOT THE HOTEL but an observation which could be avoided with some careful pest control.

Nice looking hotel overall, clean and comfy room with decent bed sheets and comfortable bed. The two pools were great as well. We liked the free shuttle service and we were able to organise our day around the shuttle time table. I think the time table was quite reasonable. We had tour A and C organised by the hotel through their partner and this took away the headache of choosing from so many providers in town.

The only negative is the shower in bathroom. We were in room 205 and barely had any water pressure. The water was scolding hot then it changed to cold. After a day spent on a boat tour this made washing my hair almost impossible.

Very large and clean room, overlooking the pool, confortable bed, clean towels. Nice design of the hotel, 2 clean pools, with sun even in the afternoon. Good breakfast with variable choices. Big plus: free transfer from airport (you have to write the flight Nr and hour of arrival), they offer shuttle to/from Lio Beach (which by the way is next to the airport, almost 2 km) and to /from El Nido Town Very friendly and helpful staff: if I called the reception desk I was always surprised to see how fast someone came to the room to help out. Very nice hotel, away from the crowded and dusty El Nido

Is is quite far from the town: 15 min of Trycicle ride (which is really bad), but you can take their shuttle, although you cannot always integrate your program with shuttle scheduale. But I would still choose the same hotel because of the facilities Other minor aspects: minibar not working (they changed it but still was unable to cool the bevrages, water at shower can be hot and then cold and so on

What a gem this place is. It's located outside of El Nido, about 15 min motorbike taxi ride (300 peso/5€). The tranquility of the place and the super comfy beds helped us sleep like babies. It's also within walking distance from Lio Beach (20 min walk), which, in our opinion, was the best beach we saw in El Nido area. They offer a free shuttle at fixed hours between the hotel and El Nido city center, Lio Beach and the airport. This was extremely useful for us. The staff was very very nice and helpful. They can help book motorbikes and island hopping tours. The breakfast buffet (included) was delicious and had lots of options. We loved the omelettes and ginger tea they had.

Wow...Charlie's is the place to stay in el nido what makes this hotel worth the stay is definitely the staff absolutely fantastic so helpful anything you need want or need to know they will help we had a poolside room and it was excellent clean cool and spacious where ever you go round the hotel it's spotless 2 pools loungers a bar with staff to serve you drinks cocktails and food this hotel's outside el nido but know worrys there are regular complimentary buses day and night into el nido and the local beach lio ( a must at night ) highly recommend definitely for though who want a bit more luxury than the back packing of el nido town but not at a high end price 10/10 Charlie's we will see you again and THANK YOU for a great stay....
