Bulskamp Inn

Really nice inn, well-located about 2 mins from the beach and in a good neighbourhood. The courtyard area is lovely and a welcome oasis considering how busy a street it is on! Breakfasts also great and good selection of card games for us to play. The staff are amazing - Rey in particular was so helpful with recommendations of what to do and provided great assistance in handling the airline when our onward flight was cancelled. Highly recommend.

If you want a quiet stay, it can be a little noisy at night given its proximity to the hostel next door. However, the hotel are great at providing ear plugs - with these, it didn't bother us at all!

Unfortunately the weather was awful during our time in El Nido which limited what we could do. Fortunately, the hotel was clean, comfortable and lovely to be in. The chill areas are lovely, lots of games to play and good WiFi. Free water. And, free coffee/tea in the mornings until 11am. You can buy soft drinks/beers from front desk and they put it on your tab. Rey was particularly helpful to us during our stay, he was so kind and friendly and helped us to organise our boat tour (which we never made it on as it was cancelled twice due to weather!!). The resident cat is also a bonus, if you like feline friends. Would stay again.

The WiFi in our room wasn’t great. The hostel opposite is noisy, the music itself we slept through (the rain was so heavy maybe it drowned it out a bit). However, we were woken up at 1am by a drunken couple from the hostel having an argy-bargy in the middle of the road 😒🤬

We couldn’t describe more how hassle and stress -free our stay in this hotel. The owners (Ms. Rose and her husband, sorry forgot the name), Kuya Rey and everyone in the reception area are extremely nice and helpful. Truly an example of a Filipino hospitality. They responded to all our worries and inquiries quickly. They arranged everything for us from renting a motorcycle, boat tour, van transfers to/from PP and even gave us extra tips on how to make our tour pleasant. We find our room comfortable and clean. Aircondition was the best so far as it didn’t make any noise, they cleaned the room every 3 days and changed towels as well. I loved that they informed/asked us first about this, and not just be surprised coming back to a clean room. We didn’t mind having a weak wifi in the room as the lobby/ lounge area is super cozzzzzzyyyy to stay and chill. In addition, the hotel is situated in a quiter side of the city center which gave us a good time to really relax and enjoy our days in El Nido.

Good sized room, clean, good location near everything. The staff at this place is absolutely amazing! We got help with so many things like booking tours, van transfers, transports, medicin, drying up wet cellphone. All in all a great place to stay and I would happily stay here again next time visiting El Nido.

Power outages / brownouts were frequent and long during our stay. There is a generator but it will not power the AC leaving the rooms very hot. These power outages are for big parts of El Nido though so bot much to so about it.

It was a really nice hostel, it was in the perfect location for exploring El Nido. The main area has lots of lovely chairs and hammocks for sitting and relaxing during the day. The rooms were so nice and well air conditioned. the bathrooms are perfect. The staff were so accommodating and friendly nothing was an issue they were so helpful and kind. This is the perfect pace to stay in El Nido, it is quiet and relaxing and very peaceful. It is in a great location. I would definitely recommend it!

The location was really good. We walked almost everywhere. Near money change, restaurants and beach. Hotel was very cozy and sweet and clean. Ray was super sweet and friendly i really appreciate his hospitality and all employees was nice and sweet. Bathroom also clean and hot water was works as well. I stay again if i go again❤️

Front of hotel was super noisy at nite. If you are not party person then better use ear plugs.

Staff were great! Rey went over and above to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Booked El Nido boat tours, tricycle drivers for day trips to waterfalls and beaches, arranged onward bus tickets for us. Great location to walk to nearby restaurants and shops. Room was modern and comfortable and cleaned daily. Hotel offered a selection of breakfasts and free tea and coffee and drinking water. Books games and cards to enjoy in downstairs seating area.

A bit noisy from hostel across street- but offer earplugs if needed

Good and clean rooms on a nice location in the city center. The beds are very comfortable. A short tricycle ride away from the airport and the bus terminal.

The whole area is very noisy, but they provide earplugs if requested. The shower could be better and electricity sockets were not useful (the plugs kept falling out so we had to charge our devices down in the lounge).

This hotel was a nice option for El Nido given the convenient central location and it was overall comfortable. We hired the tours with them and they went great. The reception was manned 24/7. There were nice board games in the common area and it was quite fun. The staff was extremely friendly, especially Rey :)

Our room was extremely small and the shower wet the whole bathroom floor and toilet. When you left you had to leave your room key including your safety box key - this felt a bit dangerous.

Affordable price and perfect for the family as we actually went out most time of the day as we booked tours daily. It got the important stuff - AC, Wifi, Private Bathroom, Bath Towels and Shampoo/Body Wash Gel, Safe Deposit Box but no toothbrush and toothpaste (for reference). Ate Rose, Kuya Vince and the lady who does the night shift were all accommodating.

I wished there are thicker sleeping blankets rather than bed sheet-like only. If phone per room is expensive investment, maybe a phone at second level. While removing the shoes and slippers is something I am used too at home, I find not hygienic to walk barefoot up to second floor. Sometimes I see other guests not following.
