Clarion Hotel Energy

Breakfast was very good in my opinion (choices of warm and cold vegetables, fruits, fried and scrambled eggs, cheeses, meat, bread, cereals, a kids corner with pancakes, etc.). The beds were comfortable imho. The bathroom was equipped with soaps/shampoos from Rituals. The gym is equipped with cardio machines (run/bike/ski), leg curl, leg extension, squat machine, chest press, lat machine, shoulder press, ab machine, lower back machine, dumbbells and a bench. On the hallway there is an ice machine.

Even though the window could open, the room still felt warm (while outside only 16 degrees celcius).

Excellent hotel, very clean with super nice design interiors. The hotel itself is a super cool architecture that looks like the Pulpit Rock! The room is very comfy, love the Rituel shower gels and lotions, smells divine. Nice to have a TV too, and kettle ! Breakfast is super impressive with a huge variety, even vegan, gluten free, lactose free options, and is all very tasty and fresh. The hotel has good connection to the city centre, there is a bus stop right outside and has many buses going quite frequently. The hotel restaurant serves excellent dinner, although a bit pricey, but we enjoyed the food. There are also big supermarkets near by and sushi takeaways, making dinner more affordable.

The carpark is a little far away from the hotel, in the basement of another building and costs 100kr per day.

Rooms were lovely, clean and modern. Plenty large lifts. Restaurant is excellent - though expensive!

Parking is an underground lot a short walk away, rather than at hotel. Not much walkable in area. Arrived on a Sunday and there were coffee cups and glasses lying around everywhere in the reception area which remained there hours later.Not sure there was anyone to clear these on a Sunday?!Because otherwise lovely and clean. Also managed to book a table in the restaurant for 5pm on the website, but when we turned up were told that it only opened at 6pm on a Sunday!

Amazing breakfast buffet. The best I've seen and difficult to top. We stayed in a very spacious family room with 2 TV screens, tea & coffee making facilities, Iron &board, hairdryer and very good bathroom products. Very quiet room, no street noise or from neighbouring rooms. No queues at reception and underground parking nearby. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Room was quite dark as there was only one narrow window in the corner of the room. We had a family room and only the double bed had reading lights ( not the sofa bed and the extra bed where our kids slept). The restaurant and lounge area are also quite dark ( difficult if you want to have a drink and read). No bath mat in the bathroom and lack of bars to hang up the towels ( as it was 5 of us). The fabric of the sofa and armchairs was heavily stained ( which is a shame when everything else is impeccable). Didn't feel like sitting on it

Everything was great at this hotel. Less than 10min drive to Stavanger town and 40min to Preikestolen. We were 3 and they added a single bed in the room which was surprisingly super comfortable. The big bed as well. Bathroom is huge and Rituals products are awesome. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE - one of the best we've had in our life, totally worth a 5-star standing. There is everything you could wish for, even a make-your-pancake station which we loved. We loved it and recommend it to anyone travelling to Stavanger.

Nothing really. The only downside is that there is no free hotel parking, you have to park at the parking lot 50m down the street (140NOK for 24h or 17NOK per hour) which is a bit annoying considering the hotel is outside of town with more than enough room for a free parking.

Great breakfast Friendly staff

We were informed about free car parking available under our reservation. Receptionist directed us to nearby underground car park where we left our car for 2 days. At the check-out we were informed about outstanding fee for parking. Some miscommunication on the way happened and staff member did not want to admit it was hotel's fault and apologise for misleading and incorrect information given on check in

Clean, nice room. 1 double bed and 1 double pullout bed for 3 guests. Good bed size and quality sleep. Very good breakfast spread. Have free parking available. Happy with this complimentary. Overall satisfied with our stay.

But our unit door with card scanning very difficult to open. Tried many many times and need to push very very hard before able to open the door. Went reception to change card but still same problem.

Slightly away from citi centre but one can take public bus to centre. We had a car & parking was next to the hotel costing Nok 140 a day. Breakfast for eggiterians was excellent with eggs, sunny side, cut vegetables, pesto, cole slaw, breads, fruits etc. the front office service was also very good with free tea coffee thru the day. Room size was large. Would certainly recommend the hotel.

The architecture of the hotel is identical and a mimic of the famous landmark of the Pulpit Rock. The hotel is very well maintained and our room is super clean and spacious. Foods were great and services were at high level.

No free parking. Have to park in an underground parking lot about 10min walk away from the hotel and pay for overnight parking.
