Nice and confortable hotel (sheet, mattress, ..) we enjoyed our 4 nights ; clean shower-room Extra bed (futon), very confortable Suite Room 512 cosi with nice deco (under the roofs, important ceiling height) ; iron and ironing board, armchair ... ; Extra beautifull view on the port and the cruises boat (Queen Mary Hamilton, Iona) ; Good localization, closed to the centre/shopping and nice colored streets, park Meals: Mega breakfast : with a lot of choices (sugar, salted, fish, smoothie, bread, marmelade, vegetable, fruit...). Fika (brownie, cookies, coffee, tea, ...). Dinner : a large choice of salad, pasta, ... Gym room. Sympathic staff. Platform to book a taxi. 457 Nok for airport.

Cleaning room is optional, you have to ask to the reception.

It is exceptional value. You get snacks from 15:00-17:00, and you get a lovely dinner buffet from 18:00. It is not huge, but there are good options for everyone, with many salads to chose from, soup, a hot meal, water, coffee/tea. With the outrageous prices in restaurants in Norway, the fact that you get dinner included with your room, which is both plentiful, inviting and tasty, makes it phenomenal. And the breakfast is really great. I stay in many hotels throughout the year and while this is not the "best in Norway" it is quality, looks nice, plentiful, and tasty. If I bring my wife, she will love it too. There were great options for alternative milks and glutenfree choices. And as someone who drinks tea, this was probably one of the best tea selections in a hotel... Both tea bags and loose tea. That's 6* experience right there! The staff is really nice, service minded and this was an overall great experience. The bed is great too. This was my first stay in this hotel. I have tried several other hotels in the city. Next time I am in the city, this is where I will stay! Easy peasy choice for me!

The one thing I would love to have been differently, is that I got a room on second floor which was basically on "ground floor" on the back of the hotel. That means if I had the curtains open, the road behind the hotel is on the same level as the floor, and people walking by is basically looking straight at me. So I cannot sit in the room with open curtains, I will feel like in a fish bowl. So if I want privacy or walk around in my underwear, I need to have the curtains closed. So next time I will ask for a room higher up, or on the front side of the hotel. But the room is nice, and the bed very good.

Breakfast very good. Buffet style with cold cheeses and ham, muesli and nuts and yoghurt . Cooked choices boiled eggs, scrambled, bacon and mushrooms plus pancakes etc Fika teas and coffee in pm plus buffet meal in evening with great salads and lots of choice

Location is very convenient, outside terrace a bonus on warm evenings, but noise was a problem most evenings if you leave the windows open . However with ear plugs or windows shut, this wasn't a problem and would not put me off visiting again. Staff helpful and friendly.

The location is fantastic, being right on the water. The drawback is that there are occasionally cruise ships docked right in front of the hotel. Many bars and restaurants within walking distance, but the food offered by the hotel was quite good (and included in the price). Central bus terminal is just a short walk away, too. The cathedral (being renovated until 2025) is very close, as well as the rest of "Old Stavanger". Many museums within walking distance, as well.

I can't think of a single dislike with this hotel.

Great location - super close to bars and restaurants and we had a great view of the water from just outside our window. If I come back, I'd happily stay here again. Breakfast and dinner (!) included in the price of a meal - food was nice but we actually preferred to eat our dinners out. Nice sized room. Staff were fantastic - incredibly helpful when we realised we were locked out of the parking lot (admittedly at 3am!).

Very small plates for the dinner and no vegetarian (main) options but food was tasty

The breakfast was excellent. Not only that, even dinner was included in the room charge. The room rate was very reasonable, considering the location and meals included. There are tons of restaurants nearby. The airport shuttle bus stop is an easy walking distance from the hotel.

When I made the reservation from the US through Booking.com the rate quoted was in USD. However, the charge was actually in NOK. I would have used a different credit card had I known that.

Good that dinner was included, I only went to it once since I really wanted to try the fish soup so went elsewhere for that. Being on the pier it wasn't as noisy as I had expected.

The breakfast was basic compared to another hotel I stayed at the night before. But they did offer an even more basic breakfast from 4.30am for ppl like me who have early morning activities. The rooms are a decent size so you can at least open the samsonite suitcase on the floor.

The property is right opposite to the port so gives a view of the ships coming in and go. The rooms are not very spacious but clean and the staff were very friendly. So no complains. 3 meals were included and it was great. Lot of restaurants near by. We stayed there so that we could hike to Pulpit Rock and the staff have in all the info.

The rooms could have been a slightly bigger but the behaviour of the staff made it all.

We like relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel was in a great location We find the inclusion of light evening meal suits our needs We like that business people as well as tourists use this hotel

We are not vegetarians but the choice of vegetarian food at dinner time was very restricted On one day (out of five) one of the huge cruise liners was berthed right outside the hotel so no view of harbour

Location was exellent for us, right on the harbour with a full window to sit and look at the world go by. Breakfast was very good with a good range of everything. Dinner was a little bit of let down as we went for half board which included the 'Buffet Diner', infact it was the choice of 1 hot meal with bread and 3 different salads but very nice. Beds and room facilities were very good.
