Aztec Motel

We really enjoyed staying at Aztec Motel. Damon is super friendly and knowledgable about Palmy. The motel's location is quite central in that it's a quick drive into the centre of town. There's a great fish n chips place just up from the motel too. No problems with parking and there's a coin laundry room if you need it. The room was super clean and it was spacious with everything that you need. The pool / outdoor Picnic area is neat, but we couldn't make use of it because it was raining during our whole stay.

We loved our stay here! Place was clean and tidy (although felt a bit dated) but the staff were so lovely it made up for it! Unfortunately we did have some annoying farmers in the room next to us who kept taking our park but that wasn't the motels fault. Room was perfect for us with our new bubba and toddler :) Location was great with a fantastic cafe next door

Lovely spacious motel, clean and tidy and close to the hospital if needed. A drive to get to the town square. Mobil petrol station is just across the road if you need any extras. We booked a room with two beds and there is a microwave, toaster and jug, so easy for making simple things. Nice little touch with bikkies, peppermints and orange juice sachets along with tea and coffee. I'd highly recommend and will return.

We enjoyed how clean the rooms & bathrooms were love the presentation in the bathroom especially towels 😁 and we loved the night lights with the phone chargers next to beds very handy loved the free wifi aswell. Thank you for having us eventhough it was only one night hopefully next time it'll be longer so our kids can enjoy the pools.

To be honest we have nothing we want to change or complain about everything was spot on and I love how there's less plates & cutlery in each room easy to clean and just enough for the number of people in rooms.

Not a biggie But couldn't change the height of the shower head. Also nothing to hold on. My partner not great on his legs and felt a bit uneasy in shower with nothing to hold on. Wouldn't stop me staying there though but just a thought for older people staying.

This was the first time my kids got to experience sleeping in a motel and they loved it, it had everything that they wanted, which was the swimming pool, we both feel the same way as well. For sure I will booking again and coming with my kids to create more memory being in a motel.

Nothing to complain as there was no fault in staying in this facility as everything was on point.

Great location as we were flying out the next day. Pool was a bonus for the kids, and the room had everything we needed, was lovely and clean and had aircon 😁. The host was great, supplied pool towels and there was heaps of board games if we needed to entertain the kids. Mobil across the road was also helpful.

Nice tidy and clean rooms, plenty of towels. Bathroom was good size, thanks for the hand soap and the shower gel. Great little kitchen area. Fridge was a bit awkward, but great size. Loved that the bedside lamps were charging stations i found this out after I went crazy looking for my charger and then had to borrow someone elses!! Children loved the pool. Close to a park if we needed the extra space, but we didn't.

The location was great for us coming and going from the Athletics track at Massey University. We also liked that we could sign in to our own Netflix accounts

The water pressure in our barhroom hand basin was very weak. It was great in the shower and in the kitchen, but not so good in the hand basin.

Quiet, warm.

Had to keep fixing curtain as kept dropping & not much privacy when closed, if I could see outside from bed then ?????.. Automated messages on Booking.com need revising as made one feel uninvited before arrival. Eg.. cancel if from Manawatu district??? Not a good feeling when one has to ring day before to check if it's ok because they come under Manawatu. Just a little hint....kitchen needs a chopping board.
