This is our 3rd stay here as it is close for us to meet with family. The appartments are a bit older but always very clean and good value for money. The owners are quick to accommodate us if we need extra blankets or towels. We will stay there again.

Great location, heat pump was easy to use and worked well. The size of the apartment was perfect for us. Awesome price for 2 nights. I really liked the balcony and the views. The cleaner was so friendly and helpful. Everything worked and beds were comfortable. Apartment was clean. Great stay! would definitely book again.

Ok so it’s a bit run down in places but it wasn’t a problem, we loved it. Especially for the price and location. It was exactly what we needed. I asked for more blankets and towels and toilet paper and it wasn’t a problem, it was brought up to us straight away. Super friendly staff.

We had a penthouse 2bdrm unit that looked out towards the ocean (#14). It was very quiet inside (with double glazing) and the sound of the surf was wonderful with the slider open. The unit was clean, spacious, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage. Nice big comfy couch to relax on when we needed it. Plenty of hotwater, decent linen and a nice feel to the place. Staff were polite and pleasant to deal with. The proximity to the beach is great (just across the road) and everything felt very safe and secure. I have to add that we were delighted with the location because there is next to nothiing else in the area.

Although nice, the first person at reception didn't speak a word of English and we had to wait to get the key. The balcony top hand rails were broken and although not a safety issue - it was a little unnerving to have one dislodge in your hand. The shower is over a bath with an extraordinarily awkward fold back door thing that doesn't work well. The beverage sachets are of poor quality but we had brought our own so not an issue.

Helpful, cheerful staff. They managed to find a frypan and an oven dish (only for me to discover there was no oven anyway!) Clean, spacious apartment with 2 separate bedrooms, microwave, cooktop and full sized fridge/freezer. Lots of hot water and a good shower head. Good sized towels and facecloths. Plenty of parking.

The furniture is old and scratched but okay. There were no tongs in the kitchen, few utensils, and the only knife, a huge one, was very blunt. I ended up buying a paring knife and a sharpener - needed them at home anyway. The frying pan had lost it's non-stick ages ago and there was no oven.

Great little place with kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. Well back from the road so no traffic noise and yet very handy to the beach. The rooms were a nice size with great light, comfy couch and good table and chairs. It was air conditioned, had a good functional kitchen and actually a well situated studio apartment.

Bed was very uncomfortable, gave me a sore back. The shower head / hanger would come apart if you bumped it, the ranch slider would not lock, so security of the room was poor, and parking by some guests was very poor, taking up multiple parking spaces meant I had to park on the street one night. There was no one on site to assist. I did not realise when I booked it that the apartments were not serviced so there was that. Level of maintenance of the rooms, doors, locks, paint, windows was low. With a bit of TLC this could be an excellent stay.

I like the fact that we could walk to the beach which was just across the road. Fabulous location and sitting in the lounge with ocean views was exactly my intent on booking with Beachside as I had stayed here before. Enjoyed the fact that there was a coffee van across the road, serving up delicious coffee. And a very walkable distance into Brighton shops/Countdown

Nothing I didn't like...

The room is spacious and equipped with everything we want. Complimentary public washing machine is a bonus.

The staff wasn't always available at the office and could be more helpful. However, this might be because we arrived at night and didn't inform them earlier.

Sylvia, who gave me the key was friendly and helpful. The plus side to the steep stairs was a lovely view of the sea from the bed. I enjoyed the seaside feel of the apartment and was happy with the amenities. I could lock my bedroom door which was an extra feeling of security. The heat pump kept the apartment nice and cosy in the evening. I'll definitely be back!

I booked a top floor apartment with a seaview balcony but was on a lower floor with a tree view. The bedroom and bathroom were up some steep stairs, which was a little difficult for a pensioner. I'm sure younger people would have no trouble with them.

Robert the caretaker was outstanding we wanted a DVD and he put it together for us as we were not sure how to work it. I would stay here again with the view we had and the outstanding staff. Thank you Robert from Tara and Grant

There was nothing I didn't like, was not 5 star but place met my needs and wants.

The location near the beach a highlight loved the feel of the apartment it had a beach vibe about it liked the window in the roof so we could watch the stars from the room. The kitchen was modern so was the layout of the apartment nice stay.

I wouldn't complain much but upon arrival there was still someone bottle of alcohol on the balcony, im not sure if it was the beach vibe the apartment could have done with a cleaner outlook, but I also get the beach vibe too not a biggie id definitely come back to stay.
