Off Broadway Motel

The room we had was quiet and double glazing meant there was very little traffic noise. The bed was extra comfortable. The shower pressure fantastic.

We had fellow guests in room above us who decided to have a fight at 12.30 am. The female was beating up the male so bad that he had to go and sleep in his vehicle. Not the motel owner's fault just a sad indictment on fellow society members.

I think staffs great and the place was very clean! However we didnt feel comfortable sleeping since the inner comforter was dirty and had stains and instead of it being inside a duvet cover, it was just sandwiched in between two flat sheets. Not sure if it's like that for all rooms or just ours.

Breakfast really good, Location great, not very noisy, despite central location.

Had trouble with Internet on my laptop - before I had a chance to enter the password, a new log-in screen came up, then another, then another, then another, then another, and the only way out was to hit the power button. Started up again and it did the same. OK on mobile device though. The next day it was the same, but when I got home, there as no problem. Didn't really matter though, and might have been my particular set up.

Excellent location for Westfield shopping centre, a huge number of car dealerships and (of importance to me) Mercy Hospital. Easy to find, reasonable parking and a very helpful Duty Manager. The room was a good size and the bed I used was very comfortable.

Aircon was very effective but as it's keyed to your room-card-activated power the room was stuffy and unpleasantly hot on arrival on a very hot day.

The location is excellent, easy walking distance to Newmarket shops and cafes. Close to motorway and easy to find. The staff are fabulous, so helpful and efficient. They go out of their way to help you. Very good parking available for this part of the city. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The room is spacious with an outside balcony. A dining table and comfortable chairs.

Only one little negative. There is no kitchenette, more like a hotel with a cupboard that has everything you need but you need to use the bathroom sink to fill the jug and rinse dishes. However the room was serviced and the dishes cleaned and replaced so not really a problem.

Excellent breakfast. Comfy beds. Exceptionally clean. Helpful staff. Close to motorway but must have double glazing as I didnt notice the noise. Walking distance to Westfield Mall and Mercy hospital. Very reasonable rates. There was parking available but we didnt need it. Would definitely stay there again

Stayed on top floor and was nice lying on the comfy bed looking out to the sky for my view. Handy location well within walking distance to Westfield Newmarket and other restaurants. Glad there was a lift too with my dodgy knee. Had everything we needed for a nice little getaway.

Location, plenty of off road parking, was quiet- didn't hear any neighbourly noises or people in corridor, decent size rooms, Beds nice and comfy, staff super friendly and welcoming and they were really accommodating when we decided 2 days in a row to extend our stay last minute .

If I have to pick somthing to moan about- fan in bathroom was loud, toilet kept running after flushing. Minor things really. Definitely satisfied with our room for the price.

Customer service was really good so helpful, loved our room, the bed was very compfy. Having a guest book with all the information we needed was great. 5mins walk to Westfield Mall & shopping . Will be booking this Motel again when next in Auckland

how quiet the location was and the balcony which had a drying rack for use. Owner was extremely helpful and kind. She searched through a box of phone chargers to provide me with a suitable one as I had forgotten mine. I stayed by myself one night and felt really safe as entry is electronic and I knew that the owner was there if needed. Would recommend this motel.
