Amsterdam Hotel Uithoorn

Good hotel located in a very quiet residential area. Perfect for couples and families. Great breakfast. The room had also a fridge and a safe. It is not really located in Amsterdam, but it's definitely cheaper than the alternatives in the city. The bus stop is just 5 minutes away. It takes around 50 minutes to get to Amsterdam's city center (one way ticket is around 6 euro).

The shower had no glass door, so water can sprinkle and get the whole floor in the bathroom wet.

Location is great - there is a bus station (2 minutes by walk) from which it’s easy to get to Amsterdam (50 min long way). Very nice neighborhood - calm and safe. The staff is very welcoming and is always ready to help. The room is fully equipped, there is a fridge and coffee machine as well. Beds are also very comfortable.

The bathroom needs some renovation, especially the bathtub. There was an unpleasant smell in the halls (probably due to humidity).

There was free parking in front of the hotel. Staff was extremely nice :) We had quite a big room for all of us (2 adults, 4-year-old, 6-year-old). Breakfast was quite nice, but we had to pay separately for it.

It was quite cold in the room as windows were open when we arrived. However, there was air conditioner in the room that helped to heat up the room a bit.

We stayed out of town for cheaper accommodation, location was very handy to bus and restaurants.room was spacious and good wifi and access to Netflix . Came with free parking , easy access. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Helped us out with plates and crockery and instructions to get bus into town.

Maybe bigger mugs for tea

The accommodation was excellent. Spacious clean and tidy room, nicely decorated hotel, quiet location and only 20 minutes from the airport.

Everything about the hotel was great except the distance to the centre of Amsterdam. Expensive to travel. 37€ one way by taxi. On the weekends can be more expensive up to 70€ one way by Uber.

Very comfortable and clean, the staff was kind, the room was spacious even with 4 people and had a fireplace! Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety. Location was central between Amsterdam and flower fields.

I would have liked more of a Dutch feel instead of American, but that’s just being picky :)

Nice, big and clean room. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. 5 min walk till bus station to Amsterdam city. ALDI grocery store 5 min walk away.

Location good if you have to stay near the airport. Not good location if you want to visit Amsterdam city and come back as it takes 45 min each way by bus.

pet charge is a bit steep, considering there was basically no extra effort for that - not even cleaning, in our case, as we had our own pet bed etc. the restaurant could have been open or offering drinks at least

Absolutely superb location-Uithoorn bus station with buses into Amsterdam every 20 minutes was a real bonus. Breakfast was a delight, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly - gave us good advice for travelling into the city and what to do once there.

I cannot think of a single thing that disappointed

The front of house was very friendly and the place had a nice vibe, compared to the other hotel we stayed at. The breakfast buffet was great...

The bed/pillows were a little hard/uncomfy and the bath was a little old and worn/stained, which made it look abit dirtier than it probably was...
