Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam Airport, Schiphol

The standard room was very clean and spacious. Although I didn’t use all the facilities there was a mini fridge, safe, iron/ironing board, 3 telephones, a kettle, mugs, glasses and a good size tv in which I was able to cast my phone to. The king size bed that I stayed in was super comfortable.

No shops in walking distance. If you’re a night owl and you happen to be thirsty, the bar is unlikely to be open.

We spent one (1) evening here between flights on our way back to Canada from Croatia. The price was reasonable for an airport hotel, especially for Amsterdam. I primarily chose this hotel as complimentary airport shuttle service was provided. The hotel is located in an industrial area with nothing of interest nearby. There are no other restaurants or bars beyond what is available at the hotel, so we were largely prisoners. The onsite restaurant was very expensive, I am glad that we picked up a meal and bottle of wine at the grocery store in the airport before embarking on the shuttle. We feasted on a pasta salad and sandwiches, washed down with an excellent white wine. Wine glasses were provided in our room and we ate our meal on the outside terrace situated off the breakfast room. It was very easy to find the shuttle and check-in at the hotel was swift. Our room was well appointed and comfortable, one complaint, there were no decent stations on the TV. Our rate included breakfast and an excellent spread was provided, plenty of fruit, eggs cooked to order, a large selection of cereals and great coffee, tea and juices.

I am uncertain why a 50e damage deposit is charged when checking in. I found this practice somewhat insulting as the deposit was returned when we checked out without anyone checking the status of our room. I also found the bathtub somewhat difficult to access. It was high and with knee issues it was a bit of a challenge. Also, lack of stations on the TV.

Excellent location, clean, amazing buffet for breakfast, hotel has a Shuttle bus to the Airport for free, the front desk employee i met, speaks English and Spanish (plus Dutch)….. I highly recommend it.

I was very specific when i did the reservation, that i was traveling with my 9years old kid and my husband (Party of 3) .. and i received a room with 1Bed (it was a Queen size bed, but anyway it was 1bed for 3 people).. I explained to front desk guy that all hotels have always given me 1 big bed (double or queen) PLUS a single small bed or a sofabed but he said this hotel give a Queen bed for a marriage couple with a kid. So we were to tight that night :(

The earliest airport shuttle leaves at 07:00. That is too late for many passengers to catch early flights. For me it worked out okay

My recent stay was excellent. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly, and the convenient shuttle service to the airport made my trip hassle-free. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, providing everything I needed. With its close proximity to the airport, this hotel is a top choice for travelers seeking a convenient and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it.

The only downside of my stay was that the shower didn't function properly; it had a leak. Because we were only there for one night, we didn't have a chance to request that it be repaired - but I have no doubt that it would have been had we asked (and that it was repaired after our departure). Everything else was great.

The stay were exceptionally helpful , our flight was cancelled very late at night and we didn’t arrive at the hotel until after midnight , the meme we of staff at the desk that night was amazing, so patient and helpful, and made a very distressing time a lot easier. Paula at breakfast service was amazing, I cannot thank her enough for her time and help, she made a very stressful situation so much easier. Its very stressful travelling with 5 children but to be unexpectedly left stranded at an airport late at night with no help from the travel company is exceptional hard and stressful. The staff in Radisson Blu went above and beyond to help us.

The location and shuttle are amazing when traveling to and from the airport. There are not many cheap food options around, but other than that the location is wonderful. The staff goes above and beyond and the room has all the amenities one could desire. This was our second stay there and, for the money compared to other hotels of the same caliber, Radisson blue is hard to beat.

My only real complaint was the bed. It was too soft, and I woke up with back problems. I also had issues with the mattress in the other room we stayed at on our first stay, so this is not just a one-off. They could invest in better mattresses, but other than that, I have zero complaints.

We stayed in a family room with two King beds and a couch. It was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Airport shuttle bus driver never got out of his seat let alone offered to put bags in the back of the van. He sat while all passengers, including an elderly couple dragged their bags up the three stairs and along the narrow lane between seats only to secure them on or between the van seats. Upon arriving at the hotel I helped the elderly couple get their bags out, after taking all of my family's bags out. The driver watched. Airport shuttle didn't start until 6 am so I needed to order a taxi. It was a 15 min walk to the closest restaurant outside of the hotel.

The shuttle was a serious bonus in value. It saved us from having to spend money on an Uber to get around. The property was clean and smelled very fresh and cleaned. Our rooms were comfortable, and the bed was especially great! The breakfast bar felt more like a 5 star hotel instead of a 4 star hotel.

What I loved about this property was that when we discovered that the in-room fridge was not cooling, they had it fixed within the day. The management was visible in validating the quality of the breakfast and other spaces. I approached them and let them know how much I appreciated the high level experience we had.

I really liked the room, the size of the room, and the view. The staff were very friendly and the dinner was delicious. Check-in and check-out was very smooth and they could store my luggage until the room was ready.

The one area that I didn’t really like was that I booked this hotel because it was an airport hotel however it’s not that’s close to the hotel. I thought when I booked it I’d have access to the free airport shuttle but because I had an earlier flight I had to sort out a private taxi. That was slightly disappointing but otherwise it was a wonderful stay. It’s still a good hotel to be at for airport because it is a bit far out of the city and a bit difficult to get to the Center.
