De Pier Suites

De Pier Suites provided a unique and comfortable stay in Den Haag. We were greeted by a clean, tastefully decorated room and an exceptional view of the North Sea. Complimentary bottles of wine, chocolates, water, soda, and beer were there for us upon arrival, and all but the wine was refreshed daily. We especially enjoyed the Nespresso coffee, delighting in the variety of flavors. The shower provided hot water with amazing water pressure which we really enjoyed, and the tub was placed perfectly for a bath with a view of the sea! The breakfast included in our booking was lovely, with croissants, a variety of fresh rolls, cold cuts, cheese, cucumbers, sweet tomatoes, scrambled eggs bacon, pancakes, yogurts, toppings, juices, and coffees and a view of the beach and sea. while the walk through the pier was long, it was covered, and we couldn't help thinking our children would have loved the pier activities when they were much younger. The staff were courteous and helpful. The pinnacle, of course, was the view of the ever-changing North Sea with its shades of grays, blues, and greens, making our stay in The Hague quite wonderful!

- the view is unbeatable! - very comfy room with included minibar - the staff is very friendly and helps with everything - very good breakfast and it is also included, although it is stated as an extra on booking.com - nice bathtub big enough for two people

- the balcony needs protection nets from above, tourist threw trash onto it - the door could be tighter, it rattles extremely loud when there are stronger winds outside - Chromecast don't work in room 2 - the pillows are way too hard

After two nights at NH Den Haag who disturbed us three times despite the promised late check-out, we found our little sanctuary at De Pier Suites. Passing through the whole length of the pier full of shabby shops and food outlets, we were pleasantly surprised by the clean and calm comfort of the hotel at its very end. We were always met with courtesy and just the right amount of care by the staff — be it the lady at check-in, the security guard after midnight or the gentleman at the adjoining ZILT whom we checked out with. The view was stunning, especially at night and with a switched on window illumination whose colours we could adjust to our mood (lifted even further by the free minibar).

We wish we could stay a bit longer within the price of the reservation. The latest check-out is at 13:00 and costs 25 euro for every hour after 11:00.

Great beds, pillows, duvet and location. Mini bar was free. Check in and out was easy and user friendly. TV connected to both netflix and YouTube with ease. Room was clean, balcony over the sea was beautiful. Easy walking distance to everything. Booked in at the Spa and it was the same, friendly and a great experience. Awesome hairdryer! Room was set up with a small table, plates, cutlery and wine glasses. Nikki on reception was friendly and informative. Cannot wait to book again.

Not much really. Coat hooks would have been appreciated but that is just me being picky. I hung my jacket over a chair and it was just as good :)

The view, the decoration in the room, comfort, free drinks, clean, friendly staff.

The hall with reception, on the first floor and in the restaurant are to 'clean'. Try to give it more charme/warmth (like in the rooms). Signs to the hotel (not really big) Maybe mention in a note on the site the pier is empty at night. Could feel a bit scary....(was ok for us because the were cleaning)

You are literally on the sea. Hence the view is amazing. Minibar with great choice surprisingly included. The hotel anticipated very well on the limits with COVID - we had a table in the room equipped for having a take away dinner and the breakfast was brought to the room (with great choice to select from). We really love the design of the room. We also want to highlight the great arrival we had - a very warm welcome by the front desk with clear and friendly explanation of everything they offer.

Nothing particular we disliked.

Location was great, at the end of the pier. Sea view from the room and balcony made the stay relaxing, comfy beds and free mini bar. The breakfast was tasty and plenty of hot cold, sweet and savoury choices.

The room was described as "Deluxe". There was damp on the ceiling in the bathroom, litter & cigarette butts on the balcony and for the money paid, missing some extra touches. e.g. stand for luggage, tissues, heated towel rail and fresh milk.

Amazing price for what you get! its on de pier and has a lovely view and atmosphere! definitely recommend it for tourists especially at the current rates!

no elevators, carry your own luggage (I didn’t ask for help, but I am used to being helped without asking), the walk out of the pier is too long and consumes time, a flat escalator would speed things up!

The view of the sunset was beautiful. Also the room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. During my stay i had a birthday cake with me and they offered us to keep the cake in the fridge even after check out.

Super friendly staff and phenomenal view. Free Minibar and perfect location. I would call it a Must-have in Scheveningen!

it wasn’t “that” clean, there have been a view corners with dust which wasn’t good for my allergy. The reception was also a little bit hard to find.
