Hotel Kuiperduin

I had a great stay at this hotel. It's walking distance to the train and ferry and very calm and peaceful. Staff was very friendly and took extra time to communicate with me even though I barely know any dutch and don't know any German.

It didn't bother me because I'm Deaf but the clock on the church next door does chime all through the night that's something to be aware of...I only barely realized it but I would think a hearing guest might not be able to sleep through that. It did slightly smell of smoke but I'm very sensitive and it wasn't overwhelming.

Lovely old building with a beautiful garden. Great breakfast, comfy, clean beds, great shower, good towels. Excellent location for restaurants and just a short drive to the long, sandy, clean beach. Super friendly, helpful staff. Can highly recommend and will use again. Plenty of FREE parking right outside the hotel or nearby.

Just mentioning it for light sleepers. The church bells (next door to the hotel, which was the vicarage) rings once every half an hour and then every hour = midnight 12x. It can be annoying or soothing, for us it was the later.

The room was adequately sized and was furnished with a comfy and clean bed. Amenities were ample. Breakfast was great with a very big spread. Quaint little garden to relax in. Location was central, right on the main street - walking distance to the shops, bars & restaurants, ferry terminal. Henry and his wife were extremely helpful.

Decor is a bit dated but does have an overall homely feel. Pet friendly but was told that I had to inform them about having a pet at the time of booking. However, that was not specified on the website.

Very welcoming and comfortable hotel. Room and beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with a very friendly lady Petra, looking after us. She went the "extra mile" to make us welcome. The ability to hire cycles and the honesty bar were a welcome bonus. Location is great, 5 minutes walk from the main square We will certainly stay here agin. Exceptional value for money.

The hotel had a great courtyard to relax in after our bike ride from Amsterdam. There was cold beer available from the breakfast room at a very reasonable cost which we appreciated😀 as we sat in the sun. The owners very very friendly and accomodating and the room was great. Breakfast was very good from the salmon, meat , cheeses, fresh fruit and yogurt. There was also cereal and bakery products. This was a very well laid out continental breakfast. Excellent value for the money

The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful, particularly the lady who served the breakfast. The room was perfect for us and our dog who travelled with us, and we really, really enjoyed the breakfast.

I can't pinpoint anything, perhaps the check-in times, but this was unique to us because of the time our flight landed in Amsterdam.

The location was excellent, the breakfast was very good and the service at breakfast was first class with very friendly staff.

We did not get the twin bedded room requested, we managed with no problem, the main problem was their was little storage space in the room for our luggage, their was a table that we never used, it would have been if their had been storage in its place.

Helpfull staff. Good breakfast. Basic but spacious room. I checked out but was given access to collect my bag.

My room was on the street which has little noise insulation. No problem for a short stay but might be disruptive for longer. I suspect longer duration residence are place to the rear.

Location was excellent for those arriving/departing on the ferry. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated being able to leave our bags while we looked around the town before boarding the ferry.

I enjoyed the stay. Travelled to Europe with dog and family. So nice that there was a dog friendly hotel before catching ferry back to UK. Sending major thanks to the hotel staff and Tara our dog sends 5 licks and 10 waggy tails to the staff. Fantastic hotel
