Fletcher Hotel De Zalm

It's the best location in Brielle and perfect for overnight stay. We had a cheap room with toilet and bathroom in the hall but it was no problem in the end, actually they were just ouside our door. We didn't have breakfast ordered but it was no problem adding it. The furnishings are quite simple and older but you're in a historical centre of an old town so you cannot expect anything else, we were perfectly fine with everything. Breakfast/restaurant environment is very cozy and nice to sit in.

The staff was chherful and helpful. Good breakfast with lot of variety. Room was really spacious and beds comfortable.

Shower in the bathroom could not be used properly. It suddenly gave very hot water or cold water without touching the knobs. Carpet in the room is very old and needs to be changed. No elevator.

The woman who checked us in was lovely, friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a nice, old historic feel, and lovely breakfast buffet and coffee/tea in the mornings. The location was perfect for walking around and exploring this small town, rich with history.

Older building with a charming Dutch small town ambience. Getting to the room involved staircases and finding the right corridor. Reception, bar staff and other guests were all friendly. Handy car park at rear of hotel.

As an English man I found the breakfast at €15 Euros rather underwhelming.

the location was great, very attractive and sweet town with friendly and lovely people. We stayed in a family room that suited and worked for us very well. The hotel was quiet. The sheets and towels were clean and fresh.

The room was tidy and clean but everything was quite old. the carpet especially.

Great atmosphere. Loved the staff. I would love to go back. It was my first visit to Holland, and I was very impressed. That was all thanks to the reception at the hotel. Especially at the bar in the evening, and at breakfast, whilst having a coffee. Best Wishes Chris

The stairs, are too stippy making climbing uncomfortable.

Location is right in the middle of the town. Breakfast was extensive, everything you could desire. My room was in an older part of the hotel. Very basic but clean and quiet.

Since they get a lot of bicyclists, maybe have some dedicated secure bike parking.

Really nice place to stay if you don’t need a lot. Great staff! Came by a racing bike, was no problem to leave it in a locked facility next to the main entrance. Very clean. Was a bit unfortunate that the bathroom and shower were shared, but probably because I had the last room available, as i booked it 2 hours prior the stay.

Centrally located traditional hotel in Brielle. They washed and dried our wet clothes so that we could continue our bike tour through the Netherlands the next day relaxed and clean.
