ibis Styles Delft City Centre

The location is really good since it is next to the train station, so you are conveniently connected with all surrounding cities. It's modern and youthfully decorated. Rooms have a good size and are comfortable. Looks new and clean, and the complementary coffee us a nice plus.

A mini-fridge in the room would have been nice (somehow they are rare in city hotels in Europe). The shower has an opening that wets the floor, also common in Europe, and I still do not get why they do this, I take longer and more uncomfortable showers, and then you spend more time cleaning and soaking towels, which they have to wash and dry, so I do not get how open showers are supposedly more sustainable. The room was not made, even we left a clean our room sign on the door from 9 am.

I did not have breakfast but there was coffee and tea available all day at the reception area. This is a very good idea to offer to clients. The room was nice with big windows and nice views, it felt cozy and the space was right. The hotel and rooms have an optimistic type decoration, modern and simple, makes you feel good. The night staff (a Greek girl) was very nice and helpful.

It would have been good to have more space for storage in the room, we did not have much space to put our clothes. Maybe more hangers and another couple of shelves for clothes. I also think that the bikes for rent could be cheaper for hotel clients.

Very comfortable beds, great power shower, very quiet at night for a large hotel, a/c not intrusive.

All TV channels buffeted constantly making TV unwatchable. No proper bedside tables - one side was a stack of books stuck to the headboard as a novelty table but failed miserably as a surface for items over night, people before had loosened the books so unusable. No drink making facilities in room but they were offered in the reception area.

It is one of those funky made on the cheap hotels, (no fancy stuff that just increases your cost with no real value to you) - that gives you all you need! Comfortable beds, nice walk-in shower, very clean, dead quiet in the night, 2 min to train station and about 10 min walk to the square in the center of Delft. I will be booking the same for my next visit to the city

I didn’t like when I was asked to pay 15 euros for early check in which was only 45 min before the time…. if this was in the morning, I would understand but for less then an hour? It is not the staff’s fault, they are just following orders and were very polite and offered to keep the bags while we went for a walk

We are familiar with "Ibis Styles" hotels: they are typically very modern, competitively priced and adequate rather than luxurious. This one is well located, from our point of view, as we were travelling by train and it is right next to the railway station, which itself is very close to the old town of Delft. The staff were helpful. The room was modest but quite good enough for a two-night stay. We chose not to have breakfast, which seemed to us to be rather expensive, considering that good (and cheap) alternatives are readily available.

The hotel is very modern and the rooms are very large and uncluttered by too much furniture which gives a sense of space and light. The bathroom was exceptionally functionally and super-clean and tidy as was the entire room. Reception was slick and cooperative and keen to please. The hotel is also very close to the old town which is absolutely fantastic and was not more than a really pleasant five minute walk to endless cafes and restaurants and some lovely evening music. There were also countless bicycle shops nearby at which cycles could be hired and that, too, was excellent.

Parking is very awkward in this part of what would be classified now as the old town but when we go back (and we will) we will not better what to do.

Location was great, just besides Delft train station and provides easy access around. Hotel has bikes to rent as well to experience the city like the locals. Room was great, spacious and very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly, we got upgraded to a nicer room and they went the extra mile to even give us an iron and ironing board at 7am.

If I had to be picky, it is a bit expensive for an ibis hotel and the shower had a strange design with no door or barrier that resulted in water going everywhere on the floor when you shower which wasn't ideal.

Perfect location, right next door to the train station and the historic center. Amenable and friendly staff. Clean and modern, with excellent amenities. Comfortable bed and furniture. Complimentary coffee and tea station available at all times. Large common area with WiFi with a variety of seating options make getting work done easy. Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options.

Perfect location, right in front of the train station. Free coffee/tea in the lobby. The room is a regular minimalistic ibis style room with low number of facilities. Hand soap had an extremely wonderful flavor. The room had a wonderful view. The staff was friendly. Overall we liked our experience.

Nothing particular, overall all was good, but you can get the same good service in other hotels on the same street with visibly lower prices. Depends on a day, for sure.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect much more than a simple and clean hotel. But man was I impressed! The rooms are clean, quiet (even given the busy street and bus/train station out the door), and decorated nicely. Lots of curtains and windows, and a surprisingly comfortable bed. Pillows were ok. But the staff. What a wonderful crew of people!! They were incredibly accommodating! From the literal first moment I walked in the door through the end of my 4 day stay, they offered assistance. I came late to breakfast one day, I knew I had overslept. I went to the desk to ask what time I should come the next day and without even a pause, she said “let me make you a plate!” There were 3 other examples of going above and beyond, from my super late check in (like 7 am) to adjusting my check out date without penalty. Breakfast was good, the little bar was just what you need. I frequent delft and will stay here from now on.

The elevator has one call button for up and down so you go on a ride sometimes.
