WestCord Hotel Delft

I liked (1) the kindness of the personnel, (2) the restaurant where you find simple good food (do not forget to try the soup of the day), (3) the breakfast, (4) the rooms which have very confortable beds, good illumination and a good table to work, (5) the many tables with chairs and sofas enabling you to work outside your room, (6) the free wifi, and (7) the bycicles you may rent and gives you liberty to go whenever you wish. I did not try the fitness room or the sauna.

We liked mostly everything about the hotel. While it was outside the city of Delft, the shuttle bus was a great deal for 5 Euros each. It ran regularly until 5 PM & was available when we needed it. It eliminated the hassle of finding parking in the city.

Our only complaint would be the 4.95 Euros charged for a bottle of water with dinner. It wasn't in sealed bottles, just "filtered" water in refillable bottles.

The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We even had a kitchenette with coffee and tea facilities and a very welcome dining table. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied, fresh and very tasty.

The hotel itself was between an IKEA and the highway so not necessarily landmark views, but it was within a very short drive of the city of Delft, so the sights weren't a problem.

Free sauna and cleaning ladies are nice.

The service of the front desk staffs should be improved and trained much better than this. I stayed at the hotel for more than 14 days for business, paid for an expensive room, and was still treated just fair by the front desk staffs. There was a problem for my room access nearly every two days, either the battery of the smart doorlock went flat or my access was denied on my extended days of the stay. With the fact that I made a long stay in an expensive room, including frequent showups for my room access problems, the staffs who already knew my face still asked me for my room number. I literally felt that I only got the services that I paid for--nothing extra, not even service minds.

We were 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was large equipped full kitchen utilities. There is a large free parking lot. Five minutes by car to Delft center and close to the highway to reach other major cities. Breakfast is very good and everyone can find what they like. Overall great location, awesome stuff, excellent value for the price.

Convenient location to old town of Delft. (15 minute walk) The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Could have not asked for anything more. Plenty of parking.spacious room. Nice bathroom (Tips- check your window to make sure it is locked. Ours was closed but not locked. Once locked it was completely soundproof. Also so glad I didn’t try to stay inside the old town. This was very easy. )

Clean, comfortable room with friendly staff. Check-in was quick and easy and the room was ready at the time of check-in. Nice spa bath. Good selection at breakfast. Free parking. Good WiFi. Great location close to Delft and the freeway.

Minimalistic decor or cupboard space to unpack. The steam iron worked (switched on) but did not do any good as it could not iron any of my work shirts, poor quality iron.

The studio was very nice room to stay in. Bed was good. We liked the breakfast. We picked this hotel because we were traveling by car and parking in Delft is quite expensive. It's a good walk from the hotel to the city center but we don't mind walking.

Noticed that the air was fairly dry. I would have preferred some good old fashioned radiators for heating.

The hotel has separate saunas in the men's and women's fitness area changing rooms so they appear to be single sex, but there is a sign on the men's sauna saying it can be used by couples- it should be made clear that this is a mixed sauna without having to go there.so you don't miss out

I had breakfast at the restaurant on the 0th floor. Various foods, quality, and employee kindness were all good. The view of the room was very good (especially thanks to the telescope at the window), and I was satisfied with everything, including free parking and bathroom supplies. Personally, the location was between Rotterdam and Den Haag, so it was very convenient to travel to both cities.
