friendly personnel, clean and spacious room, beautiful decorations

the front door was a bit hidden and the elevator didn’t work

breakfast and staff (Daniel) were EXCEPTIONAL. I would highly rate the breakfast and the service. Our first room was a little disappointing (#5) looking onto a bland courtyard so we kept blinds shut which made it darker. I had requested 'bright and airy' so that did not win them points

MD had left on holiday with the masterkey to the safes so it was a bit stressful – in case there was an issue with lock code not sure how that might have been resolved.

Had a great time at the hotel, super friendly staff and very pretty and classy inside. The breakfast was superb, and they even cook eggs/bacon/vegan/etc things to your liking. Also great coffee and espresso/cappuccino. The shower was also big and comfortable.

The room was close to the road making it fairly noisy, especially in combination with the single-layer glass. There also was no hair conditioner.

The room was very good - huge bad, 2 faucets, toilet and bathroom was separated. Clean, neatly and comfortable room but it wasn’t a big - for us this wasn’t a problem. Very good staff - guy from reception is very good communicative, friendly and pleasant. 5 stars for guy from reception! Breakfast - wow! Very good service, tasty and fresh. Really if i will go to Groningen again - only to this hotel! Thank you!

No, i like everything

Laura & the Team were SO friendly. The hotel is immaculate They even made space for my motorbike in their cycle shed! Breakfast was spot on. Cannot rate this place highly enough Almost the perfect hotel except the ridiculously steep stairs but they have a lift which made loading my luggage doable.

The room was nice, very comfortable bed, and a great breakfast. The staff was delightful, warm and friendly. Hot tea or coffee in the afternoon when we returned was very welcome.

The over head light in the room could have been brighter for finding things in suitcases after dark.

I loved this hotel, from the historical architecture, to the location, and to the really, really friendly and helpful staff. from arrival to departure my daughter and I were made to feel so welcome. the breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. It was very clean and lots of attention to detail. the stairs are quite steep but there is a lift available too.

The hotel is an ancient building, with very peculiar rooms. I particularly appreciated coffee and tea making corner, with an amazing selection, and complimentary water. Breakfast was nice and served in a very nice room. A special asset of this hotel is the staff: nice, helpful and always smiling. They made my stay perfect.

Everything was perfect!

The staff were really friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. They helped us with our bikes, and were always attentive during breakfast. The breakfast was excellent, especially the omelettes and scrambled eggs cooked to order.

Friendly people, beautiful room, good breakfast, nice location! The hotel is in a beautiful old building and has been redecorated with a good sense of style.

Slightly noisy (meaning: you can hear people walking in the room above you) but that’s probably because it’s an old building. It is in fact very well maintained.
