Hotel Gorinchem

it’s a very beautiful and modern hotel! it’s close to the highway and a small mall, there’s a lot of things in the neighborhood to do. we loved it! it was super clean and the staff was amazing and friendly. the room super spacious with enough storage or seating facilities.

the fact that there was a DOOR joining our room and the one next door, because our neighbors CAME INTO THE ROOM AT NIGHT!!! i was super shocked by this, and made me uncomfortable… the pillows are soft, so be aware of that.

The room was spacy and clean (, though not perfectly clean). We liked the small fridge in the room. The breakfast was good. The city of Gorinchem is of worth to visit and also a good location to reach Breda, Tilburg, Dordrecht, etc.

The toilet room was comletely separated from the bathroom...we very disliked it. One more remark - the hotel is too expensive for one located at outskirts of a small-to-medium-sized city.

The room was amazing, spacious and comfortable, and being on the ground floor we had a balcony and a small garden, which was ideal with our two dogs. Breakfast was delicious, loved the freshly made waffles!

The hotel is a little far away from everything, it is a long long walk to get to the city centre. Also, we forgot to bring toothpaste, and asked for some at reception, thinking that the hotel would have some complementary toiletteries (like most places where I have been to) but we were charged 5 eur for a tube of toothpaste, which is pretty disappointing.

The Dinner on the terrace was superb, glad we stayed in and didn't venture out for dinner.

We travelled by bike and emailed prior to booking to ask about secure parking for the bikes. We were assured there was. It transpired this was actually a shelter that was not secure but had a CCTV camera sited over it. We were disappointed as this was not what we were expecting. We always park our expensive bikes within a locked facility when we travel.,where the general public cannot access them. This is the only down side of our stay.

Hotel new or newly renovated - clean bathrooms and rooms, new furniture and appliances, friendly staff, very tasty breakfast and spacious free parking in front of the hotel. All I can say is that I can strongly recommend this place.

Staff were nice and friendly, had a nice feel to the hotel, nice decor and the price was good. I liked my room which was comfortable and clean, there was plenty of parking and walkable to town in about 30 minutes.

My room had a socket hanging out of the wall and the tap was loose. Thought breakfast could have had a little more choice and it would have been nice for me personally if the BBC channels actually worked so that I could watch some English programmes from my room.

Elegant, clean rooms and big enough, big parking free of charge, close to the highway but with a lot of trees around, a small cute park at 100 m where you can relax, friendly staff

Pillows are too big and hard, no option for a smaller one, AC started out of nowhere at midnight, duvet great for wintertime, but no option for summer

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, rooms had good facilities and plenty of space

Location was a bit far from town centre (though this type of hotel often is) . Bike racks were full so we had to store outside; not a problem as weather was dry but not so good if it was raining. But good to see them well used!

The property was great very clean, modern and very comfortable, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was a good variety buffet and served early enough for me to eat before heading off for an early meeting

The only comment I would make is that the Restaurant seems to be predominately sea food for the evening meal

Due to an unforseen default to the room, we got an upgrade without any hassle. Friendly staff throughout. Atmospheric hotel, cosy. Good restaurant and plenty of free parking. Very comfortable stay.

Due to sliding bathroom doors, you can hear them being moved in the room above you. Might also be depending on upstairs neighbours.
