Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were very comfortable.

It is nearly impossible to get a taxi or Uber to pick up guests at the hotel. The staff called taxi after taxi and we were constantly let down. I think that a hotel of your standard (which is generally excellent) should have transportation facilities available. A number of the people I was with are in their 80s and it is not acceptable that they had to walk to the Naarden event(held at Comenius Museum in Kloosterstraat) or rely on the generosity of other conference attendees to pick them up in their own cars. Please do something about the transportation situation. Luckily, it did not rain during our three-night stay.

Breakfast is superb , employees very pleasant and helpful.

Not impressed with cleaning, also coffee etc. in the room not always replaced. Rooms are rather basic but comfortable.

it mention in the description that 2 kids allowed in the room with their parents but they made me take another room which makes me pay for two rooms. also the connecting room for the first day was not available and my kids age is 5 and 6 years how could i leave them alone in one room and in the second day my kid came to me with a pill he found in the bathroom (vitamin pill i hope!!) that's why i didn't want kids to be alone in one room. that staff was very helpful but when i told them about the room rules mention in their booking account they said its not true like I'm laying then i showed them it was mention

Thoughtful service, nice brochure for dog's owners with walking routes, nearest veterinarians, and petshops, even pack of treats. 25€ fee for the stay. Great location, beautyful neighborhood, 20 min to Amsterdam city center by car. Comfortable, stylish, clean room with all you might need.

Would be awesome if you would be able to leave the dog in the room while strolling around the city. But anyway, it was a great stay.

The staff where exceptional both in reception and the kitchen, , my room and bed and their facilities, made me very comfortable during my stay. I think that under the present circumstances with the problems caused by covid the hotel and staff coped magnificently

On a very personal preference I do not eat a large breakfast, just orange juice and a croissant, the standard breakfast served by room service produced a lot if waste, a more selective choice would have been preferable, this was possible when collecting my own breakfast over Christmas

Lovely modern hotel room with balcony. Nice gesture is that if you don't have the room cleaned every day to help save the planet, you get a voucher for 2 drinks in the bar. Breakfast is good although the same food every day. Some change in hot food would be nice too but we still enjoyed it. Overall a great stay and we will stay there again.

The hotel has an impressive lobby area and a nice bar & restaurant. It feels very luxurious when you enter and very welcoming. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help you, from providing an extra key card for my room, helping me work out vegan options at the restaurant, lending me an umbrella when it was raining and providing free drinks vouchers for my stay if I chose not to have my room cleaned. The wifi was excellent. The room was a great size too.

The room felt a little dated and worn, for example the socket cover by the desk to connect to the internet (via cable) would fall off. There was no plug for the sink, and the main room was only lit by a few lamps around the room, so at night it was quite dim. Also the bed was very hard. I have stayed in a few hotels over the years and I have to say this was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in.

We had 4 very nice days at Jan Tabak. Spacious hotel, very nice personel, great breakfast. Lot of area’s for seating, having a drink at the fireplace, the bar or dinner at the restaurant. But the best very nice staff, we were with young kids (not always easy at a hotel) but the were super welcomed

Good size room for 2 people although the bathroom could have been a bit larger. Good bed with one of the best duvets I have come across (they usually make.me sweat).

To come in or go out you can choose between revolving doors and a single glass doors. When you have 2 hands full the first one is rather small and the second one too heavy,

Beautifully designed hotel, very pleasant staff and large comfortable room. Parking was plentiful and easy to access. Evening meal very good indeed.

Location on roadside not ideal, but close to Naarden and easy to find. Restaurant rather quiet and lacking atmosphere.
