Sandos Cancun All Inclusive

food was very good, stuff was super nice, entertainment, and activities was great! Room service also helpful! location is excellent! I like it a lot and would recommend this hotel.

but it was a little bit confusing from the beginning how restaurants are working. also on arrival was very very long check in, I was after my long journey and it really made me upset to check in for 1.5 h . The management definitely should think about it, as hotel is big but only two people working on the reception. for every question you should wait a least 20 min.

Outdated Hotel. Food not that good ( not many options and almost no seafood) . I have stayed in Sandos before0, but in Spain and it was amazing. That's why I have chosen to stay in Sandos Cancun. Didn't meet my expectations.

Wonderful 3rd visit! Staff ALL hard working and do a great job. Fun activities at pool daily. Yoga by the water!! Large circuit of gym machines! Room was beautiful spacious suite with a water view. Loved Frattini’s food and Gaijan’s food and chefs. Liked the lunch at pool area restaurant liked “grilled” fish shrimp tacos Loved all masquerade performers, loved live instrumentals at pool. Wanted more live music nightly in lobby bar and to go until 11:30pm in the comfy atmosphere preferred to the noisy conference room setups. I would not hesitate to stay here! Good drinks…try a Riviera Maya or Blue Hawaiian. Now back home and longing to be back at Sandos.

Steaks not good. Mexican Party night not enjoyable due to the lack of air in banquet room and long wait to be seated while lots of tables were not filled up. Room service pizza is much better than the poolside pizzas. Prefer extra thin crispy crust and more options for toppings like Mushrooms and pineapple for pool pizza would float my boat.

This property was gorgeous and most of the staff was super friendly! It was clean and the food was amazing! We loved having an all inclusive. This was the best place we stayed in Mexico.

On the website it says if you stay for 2 nights you get a free rapid antigen test and the results average 24 hours. It was the whole reason I picked this resort. When we got there right at check in time, they tried to tell us it would take 48 hours and that we had to pay to get it faster. After having to argue about what their website said they finally agreed to give it to us for free. The results only took an hour. The website needs more clarity on what to expect with this test and how long it will take.

I really enjoyed myself, the staff was amazing Especially Kim in the Salon and Esteban in the Hibachi Room, the staff is warm and friendly and made sure every step of the way I was enjoying myself.. Im definitely coming back as soon as possible

I really liked everything except for the food at the buffet and the food from room service could be better, would love if they had authentic mexican food as an option

All was okay with the meals, drinks,and the staff were good , the only problem I had was with Booking .com because they did a very bad job, I was waiting for the Taxi I paid in advance waited 2 hours and then they did not keep the promise what they said and texted me about the ride with the name of the driver and the car he will be coming and on the return they did not even acknowledge that I had a reservation for the transfer back to the airport so getting no where I paid $40.00 to get my transfer back, so will never book with this Booking .com and even tell all my friends to stay away from them

Lack of communications or keeping the promise

Loved the access to the beach and the reserved beach chairs and beds just for Sandos guests. The pools overlook the beach which gives it a beautiful view. Also, my family and I loved the key bracelets. Made it so accessible and easy to get into the room without having to dig for it. Loved the AC in rooms, felt so good as soon as we walked in.

Hospitality could be better and concierge could be kinder and helpful. Food was decent, it was hard to get reservations for dinner and it takes a long time to get drinks to the table at buffet. It would be helpful if they just did self serve since it’s a buffet. That was a bit frustrating since it happened the whole stay, if you needed a refill forget about it. They were definitely short staffed but aside from that waiters were very kind. Also, getting a pool chair or cabana was a nightmare. No where to sit and no organization.

I love the beach here. It truly was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. we stayed here and got married here and all of our guests loved the hotel. the food was good. The rooms were fantastic. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. Santiago from housekeeping was amazing, the guys down at the pool leading the water/exercise activities were so great, the bartenders at bar one were super awesome, the guys at the front desk were so helpful, the young lady who is a hostess at Zango was so friendly, the men serving drinks at the pool were so kind and helpful, Jasilve helped so much with wedding coordination and during our wedding, Litzy from the salon was so great and my hair and makeup couldn’t have been better, the people who helped us in the spa were also so amazing. I apologize I cannot remember everyone’s names but what stood out to me the most about this resort was how helpful everyone that works here was. Really Sandos Cancun has top notch employees, the property is beautiful and well maintained, the food and drinks are excellent. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We were only there for two days. i had paid around $800 for a two night stay with my boyfriend. but it was all inclusive so we didn’t mind, I loved it here, they had a live grupo and buffet at their outside patio area outside, and inside they had restaurants but make sure to check when they open and close, all food and drinks were free! pool area was fun it’s more of a chill vibe, they also had mimosas which were a plus, again, all drinks, food, etc were included, the pool side bungalows are first come first serve, the staff was very nice as well. i would return

the only thing I did not like is that when I checked in they gave me the wrong room because they ran out of king and queen size single beds. it was only me and my boyfriend and they placed us in a room with two full size beds. they did offer to combine the beds but that was honestly doing too much so we declined that offer. and since we were only there for 2 nights we just dealt with it. but that was sorta a rip off, other than that the hotel was fun/ great food/ unlimited drinks!

I read pretty much ALL reviews before booking - quite interesting to see how some people experience the same place in different ways. YES, it is NOT a brand new hotel but this did not bother us. We had problems with the toilet valve but that was fixed almost immediately, for instance. YES, the hotel has an AMAZING entertainment group and the vast majority of staff are always friendly and smiling and ready to help (Mario, Silvio, Elizabeth, Octavio, Josue, Jesus and my dear friend Erick, to name a few). YES, the pool is freezing which is excellent on hot days (why do people complain so much?). YES, the view is incredible and breathtaking - we stayed on room 724 and we could look at both the lake and the ocean. Recommend it. YES, it does take some time for the water to heat up in showers ( I guess it is a Cancun thing) but I don't see how that can make me give a lower rating to the hotel, like some people did. YES, great variety of restaurants (make sure you book in advance!) and good all inclusive room service. After the 5th or 6th day it starts to get a little repetitive but EVERYTHING we had was tasty, fresh and came in good sized portions (at least for a Brazilian!). Excellent gym, air conditioning working well, internet was solid rock, drinks were diverse, location is awesome (the friendly guy from the Laundry room across the street needs a 5 star review too!). There was a group of EXTREMELY obnoxious North Americans rwalking around in robes all the time raising hell about pretty much everything ("OMG, my alarm did not ring. OMG, my internet is down, OMG I cannot be naked at the beach at night with my boyfriend?; OMG OMG OMG") and the staff dealt with them in a very calm and polite way so KUDOS, guys! <3

Well, there is always room for improvement anywhere we go, right? Hm, let's see: some people were not wearing masks at the gym and it was not reinforced - which kinda bothered me a bit, considering it is an enclosed space. Oh gawd, music! Yes, the DJing needs a bit of environment and atmosphere sensitivity, volume-wise and genre-wise. It seemed the emptier the pool was, the more blasting the music was, lol. Bed was huge and lots of pillows but too soft for out ancient, broken backs - but it does not take away from the experience.
