Hyatt Zilara Cancun - All Inclusive - Adults Only

The entire hotel was very well presented with friendly staff and all round great service. The food service is upscale so be warned. The food was excellent overall. Great beach and splendid pool. Service was efficient and always with a smile. I like breakfast and dinner the most here. Entertainment in the evenings were awesome. Hotel and beach were picture perfect. The hammock in the room balcony is a welcomed touch.

Paying to use beach or pool cabanas is not cool when you thought you were at an all inclusive. Further not being able to book the use of these facilities with the "app" adds injury to insult. Some drinks were not up to mark- check the Johnny Walker Black out as it was watered down in the bottle...definitely the wrong colour and odour for authentic stuff. Upselling all services at a 5 diamond resort is a little odd I think. Finally, the Playa Collection thingy can really take away from your vacation. I suggest vacationers read their contracts very carefully if they decided to join that vacation club.

The Hotel is perfectly situated in the Hotel Zone with many amenities nearby and some clubs at night, and also 20min from the airport. Now about the Hotel itself, we could'n have asked for more as it has 5 excellent restaurants with a mix of Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean and a buffet. Also, they have 2 main bars that stay open until late. Entertainment every night in the lobby with different shows and sometimes food and drinks while you enjoy it. During the day, at the pool and the beach, there are activities planned by the amazing entertainment team (some names as Gio, Brian, Sara, Nina as many more!) such as bingo, aqua fit, cycling, volleyball and pool parties! You also get drinks delivered to your cabanas or sunbath chairs by the waiters which is amazing! We would like to thank all the staff that were always there for us, helpful, polite, friendly and always with a smile and making conversation with us! Some names are Daniela, Janet, Fernando, Fabian. A big shout out to Samanta Sanchez that is the hostess of Spice and Bonnie from Asiana that had an amazing energy and always friendly towards us. Our concierge Rosa was always present for us, not only when she was there but many requests and questions we raised via Whatsapp were promptly responded by her and Paulina. The room was comfortable, great size and the view was breathtaking of the pool and the sea.

Beautiful building, amazing beach with turquoise water, large and clean and white sands that do not heat up, great entertainment, the tepanyaki Asiana resto was delicious and the Mexican ones Adelita & Marie Marie as well, next to being in a beautiful traditional house.

Beach with waves all the time, unfortunately you cannot swim in the ocean most of the time. The food in the buffet resto -Spice was really questionable: we had to send back 2x some meat from the grill (tasted and smelled like expired), we got food poisoning and skin spots after eating there. The other restos, as mentioned above were very good. Not enough “free” cabanas at the beach. The front row is full by 7AM. we got the private cabana for 49 dollars on 3 of the days, but they “forgot” to bring the sparkling wine on 2/3. They don’t forget to check if you paid for the cabana. Service on the beach is slow.

great food, friendly staff, no lines for drinks, beautiful room and view

40% of pool cabanas were empty all day everyday, when I asked I was told they have to be reserved. but by 2-3pm the hotel should stop charging $60 for the cabanas. The price should be halved once half the day is already gone. it was very annoying to be told me couldn’t sit on the cabana yet they would be empty all day.

BEAUTIFUL LOVELY AMAZING WONDERFUL, this resort was a great stay of all time rooms are beautiful and clean !!! The house keeping came and cleaned our room and even sorted out my makeup area I left of the counter better than I did . The views are crazy beautiful & the pool area is wonderful. The food is soooooo good. First of all I’m a 23 year old black woman who live in atl and is a super picky eater so if I’m saying the food good believe me! Free drinks all day long free room service we didn’t even feel the need to leave out resort lol. BOOK HERE ITS GREAT

NOT A THING

The hotel was 5 stars at least! The restaurants were Amazing, especially Maria Marie’s... we ate there 5 out of our 7 nights for dinner! The service was perfection! Our server Palma, remembered our names and had our wine and margaritas waiting for us as soon as we sat down. The sommelier, was amazing and had great recommendations. The staff at the cabanas were so attentive and we never wanted for an. Our room was beautiful and cleaned to Covid regulations everyday. We didn’t want for anything our entire trip. It was such a memorable trip, we’ve already booked for next year at the same time!!!!

Everything was perfect!!!

The property was absolutely stunning. From the moment we walked in, the lobby captivated us, the room was cozy and spacious, and the pool and beach area was magnificent. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, and it was an extremely relaxing three days. It was also great that they had such fun activities planned such as ceramics and painting, entertainment provided in the evenings such as a circus show and Mexican dancing, as well as having a craft cocktail lounge for decadent cocktails for a night cap. I would definitely stay here again, and I am so happy I picked Hyatt Zilara, as I researched many options before choosing, and I know I made the right choice.

Everything overall was perfect! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, and we definitely did. The only small thing is there were many cabanas that were not in use as they were for additional cost (closer to the pool bar), so that was a bit disappointing as they remained vacant, but then no one could use them unless they paid extra (so for the price we are already paying, that was a bit strange); however, we still had no issue selecting cabanas further down and we stayed in the pool most of the time anyway, so it was all right.

The hotel is stunning. There are plenty of cabanas and places to sit by the beach, the food was really good, and the service was great. Everyone was super friendly and I really enjoyed my stay here.

I had issues with reception and Booking.com's communication - I had to add an additional person to my room and it was a mess. They told me the only way to change it was to contact Booking.com, so I did and got it squared away. Later, reception called me in my room and told me it would be an additional $300 than Booking.com had told me, and I had to go down and pay the difference. I called back Booking.com and they told me to talk to the resort, it was a total mess and I spent way too much time on the phone with Booking and sitting in reception re-explaining the issue to different people. It was frustrating that reception told me they had "no way" to modify my reservation on their end and it was all Booking.com, but then demanded I pay more than what Booking.com said.

The beach! The view! Everything was perfect but I loved the clear blue water and white sand the most.
