Ade Hotel Bacalar

The staff was great -- very personable and responsive. The atmosphere of the place was terrific -- friendly clientele but private, respectful.The location was perfect -- the lake is just a couple of blocks down.

The set-up was a bit odd -- shower in the room, but toilet shared across the pool deck. The room was tiny! But it was set up well enough. I ended up finding it charming -- a feeling I didn't have when I first entered the room.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They gave great advice and service, even transported us all the way to Playa del Carmen for our next stop. Special thanks to Alejandro, Gil and Mayra for making our stay great and memorable.

The complementary breakfast could get a boost if the instant coffee was replaced by filter coffee (but that’s not really a great concern).

the breakfast was good but every day the same so after 3 days we could not eat them any more. They offered instant coffee which was not good for a coffee drinker. The hotel did not offer hand towels. It was expected to pay tip for the breakfast which is unusual and is not indicated while booking that breakfast is not for free.

The room was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the nice and pretty pool area plus the sunrise paddle tour that we booked at the hotel reception. The staff was very helpful and kind. Also, we got a very useful folder upon arrival which gave us information on tours, restaurants and attractions in Bacalar.

Hotel is in a great location near the lagoon and looks nice. There are stylish decorations.

I missed hair dryer and hanger for drying clothes. Breakfast was poor, we preffered to go to a restaurant in centre for breakfast.

The friendly staff and the laidback vibe at the hotel is amazing! It's a small and charming hotel at a perfect location: near the laguna and the city centre. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast ommeletes are delicious!

We had a fantastic stay in Ade Hotel! It is situated a little outside from the city centre but that is exactly what you need to take a rest. It is about 5 minutes walk from the water which is a big adventage. The rooms are comfy and well-designed, clean every day. The air conditioning works very well. You can rent a bike or let the owner to organize sail/boat trip- which was such a great experience! I recommend a lot! Place built with love :)

The wifi could be better, but for us it was sufficient.

The property was beautifully done up, the pool area was gorgeous and we were made to feel really welcome.

The walk back from town in the dark felt a little unsafe maybe not te best place for a solo traveller.

No major points to complain about

I would appreciate more flexibility in the breakfast serving time since it is only served from 8-9am, which makes it difficult to make when you have to leave early in the morning.

The location ia perfect as you can easily reach the center, Laguna, etc. The hotel is nicely designed and really clean - room service every day. In general, I recommend this place for everyone!

The bed could have been bigger as I almost fell down 😂
