Radisson Hotel Tapatio Guadalajara

I had my luggage stolen In Sayulita outside of Puerto Vallarta and smartly. had my wallet and passport hidden, the hotel got my a early check in and the hotel driver Jorge was very friendly and helpful getting me what I needed and assured me on my return to Guadalajara would drive me and keep in touch for my safety, I know Mexico is very safe where I go, what happened to me could of happened anywhere.

The hotel is close to airport but no stores around without taking transportation.

Since the hotel is at the top of a hill, any of the rooms have a beautiful view of Guadalajara. The rooms were very comfortable and very spacious. All of the staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious.

The property does not have any elevators, so if you’re booked on any of the floors above the first level you can expect to carry your luggage up several sets of stairs. However, the hotel does provide help with your luggage which is very convenient.

Secluded hotel on top of a hill, surrounded by homes. This property has security at the entrance so it’s a safe location. Rooms are decent size, mostly updated and clean. Pool area is large and there’s plenty of room to spread out under trees. Restaurant has great food. Employees are accommodating.

If you intend to stay here to sight see the city, transportation will be difficult. If there are no taxis at the hotel, Uber is the only option, but beware. Uber drivers will cancel on you because they don’t want to enter this secluded property. Both leaving and returning to the property, the Uber drivers cancelled on us multiple times. It’s very frustrating. We found out from one Uber driver that finally picked us up that they will cancel because they don’t want to deal with the security and driving up the hill to the hotel entrance. Hotel desk staff was not very accommodating to find a taxi for us (after 4pm) One time we walked all the way down the hill to the entrance which is next to a highway to try to get an Uber. You can’t get a taxi at the highway either.

Very beautiful and comfortable hotel. It's located up a hill and offers an amazing view of Guadalajara, especially at night! Because it's quite high up (850 mtr from the main road) you'd really need a car if you want to explore the city. But if you have transportation or are looking for a place to stay nearby the airport, Radisson Tapatio is a wonderful option! The view is unbeatable, amazing swimming pool, lush gardens and friendly, hospitable staff. The room was very large, comfy bed and pillows, good working WiFi and a nice shower. I wasn't too impressed with the restaurant on site, but other than that I had a fantastic and relaxing stay! Will be back.

The restaurant menu had many options and the food was good. The staff could not have been nicer. The rooms were so big that hotel rooms I stay in now seem too small. We had a fantastic view of the city and the pool. I would definitely stay there again!

My only complaint is of the entire hotel staff the bell hops and one waiter spoke English. The manager and the receptionist did not speak English.

The large room had a great view from the large sized balcony. The view of the beautiful pool and all was very comfortable.

They made us sign that we could not bring in even one beer into our room or anywhere on the property, the "corking" charge was extremely expensive, I can't even remember how much , but it was ridiculous. PS I did see another couple walking in with a cooler full of drinks, but they were hiding them from the staff.

VIEW CITY WAS PERFECT!~~~SECURITY ZONE.

THEY NEED A HEATER IN THE POOL, AND HAVE A STORE OR MARKET AND RESTAURANT AT NIGHT,,,,,BECAUSE YOU CAN'T BUY A SOFT DRINK OR FOOD...

this is my second stay and I love everything about it! the rooms are so spacious, beds are comfortable, and bathroom is nice. we ordered room service and the food was great! there is a lot of parking!

I think the only thing is that there are no elevators so if you get a top floor you are having to go up several stairs but the staff is great and will help you with luggage.

Privacy

I had paid city view however I was given a room with city view but trees and pole blocked half. I had to walk with my 81 year old Mother across and up stairs. They didn't accommodate after I told them

The Receptionist was rude when i asked about extending night in same room she was going to give me higher rate. I had to book on booking. Com then she wanted to move me to another room. Had to get manager approval to stay in same room
