Quinta Don Jose Boutique Hotel

Everything about this place is exceptional❣️ the decor was spectacular - something wonderful to admire in every corner. The rooms, the restaurant and bar, the pool and the breakfast patio were wonderful. The continental breakfast was above & beyond - fresh juice, a fruit plate, muffins and the best coffee ever. PLUS eggs cooked to your order. In addition to all of this, the staff was the star of the show. This place was beyond a 5 star experience! p.s. if you want something super special have Charly make you a mexican coffee 🌟 We will return anytime we are anywhere in the area! The location of the property was exceptional, as it is located no more than two blocks from the centro. I was here alone for a wedding and needed something close to the church (located in the Parian) that was safe and within walking distance to everything. This hotel checked all of my boxes. I was walking distance to the center of the city, nightlife (bars, clubs) were two blocks tops, and all of my friends and their families lived just a 5 minute walk away. The fact that this was a secure location made me more at ease, as in order to enter you must be buzzed in by the front desk. My Spanish isn’t the best, but I loved the fact that all of the hotel staff speaks English very well. Definitely made me feel more comfortable.

Nothing… the facilities were quaint, but beautiful. The room was huge, and clean. I enjoyed still getting the authentic Tlaquepaque feel, with a beautiful stay.

We stay here whenever we visit Tlaquepaque. You can't beat the location and the staff are so friendly. The rooms are comfortable with everything you could need. They are decorated so tastefully with beautiful Mexican tile. We ate at the hotel restaurant this time as well, and it was very good.

Noisy, inconsiderate neighbours

Where do I begin. Everything about this beautiful hotel was 100% excellent. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left. The staff were extremely friendly, the restaurant and bar staff also extremely friendly ,always had smiles and greeted us. The grounds were such a surprise. Very well cared for and clean and a nice surprise around every corner, true mexican feel ❤❤ They had the best margaritas we have had so far 👍 the food was delicious. The location cant be beat. We walked to centro within 5 minutes and enjoyed the evening there with the festivities. Another great value was the private secure parking they provided. Everyone enjoyed our bulldogs, the kitchen staff even allowed them to sit at our feet while we ate and gave them some huge bones to keep busy lol. We also were surprised to see our room had an outside patio to enjoy. Absolutely will stay here again .

There isn't anything we cant say anything negative about

Our go-to place for our stays in Guadalajara. The entire staff makes you feel welcomed. The grounds are stunning and location could not be better. The restaurant is amazing and the head chef is creative. And Charlie, the head bartender, is so friendly!

Mattresses need to be refreshed and getting out of the pool was difficult.

Wonderful breakfast served in a lovely courtyard. All staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. It was very comfortable for a single female traveler. Beautiful environment with a boutique feel located centrally but on a quiet street

It was walking distance to all the Main Street. the location was very well maintained and you were able to getaway from all the hub bun of the town. it was a hidden gem. the staff were absolutely amazing and kind. we had an amazing time!

everything was amazing!

The restaurant “Tlaquepasta” at the Hotel is really good, we had the ossobuco it was delicious! A must try!! Charly at the bar gave us an amazing service. All your staff is well trained.

Breakfast could have other options

the staff was professional and friendly though out the property from check-in through waiters and maids, they couldn’t have been nicer. They arranged for airport transportation after 3:00 in the morning, and even brought up coffee and muffins at that hour to the room. everything with a smile. Additionally, they suggested a restaurant for dinner that was fabulous that we would have never found on our on.

With the relaxing pool and gardens and the sound of waterfalls and fountains you forget that you are only a block from the shops and restaurants of Tlaquepaque. The staff were friendly and Charlie makes the best drinks! comfortable bed and strong hot shower. Great breakfast included. Large menu selection for dinner.

My room was close to the stairs and was noisy at times.
